First time ordering this place. Restaurant looked dirty. But figured I’d give the food a try. Never again. Singapore Mei Fun is what I personally got. No veggies, no flavor, meat tasted a bit off. We threw it away after a few bites. Waste of 25$ I cannot stress enough how all the food we got tasted terrible. It’s not good Chinese at all.

Food tasted like what mildew smells like. 45 dollars on what? It used to be really good. The food tasted like they threw it in a damp basement. Don’t waste your money

This food was so unbelievably nasty. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever I ordered three different meals, a chicken and broccoli combo a beef and broccoli combo and also a shrimp fried rice with curry chicken. It was so nasty only one of the three orders got ate. I literally threw up from 3:30 AM until the next day around noon. I was so sick to my stomach just throwing up. Please do not eat here. I don’t know if their food was old, but the food was not good at all. I will be sticking to the #1 Buffet, which is across the street it’s so much better.

Went in one day and ordered a pint of pork fried rice for $7.50, lady accidentally charged me $75.00. Called the owner, and he voided my charge. I figured accidents happen so I went back in today which was a couple weeks after that incident. Well I walk in to pay and the lady had my $7.50 receipt taped on the calendar, and she wanted me to PAY the $7.50 on top of what I ordered today? Really? That’s the last time I will be going there.

Visited a friend and we ordered here. Food was ready quick. As far as Chinese takeout is concerned, it was very good. The shrimp chop suey is what is got, it can be hard to find anymore. It was very good, lots of veggies. Husband got the chicken and mixed vegetables, the sauce on it was very good, not too heavy. It’s also hard to find places that sell egg foo young and moo shu with the pancakes anymore – this place has them. Also the prices aren’t bad – prices are 1-2 dollars higher at the place by me.

This has been our local Chinese go-to for almost 4 decades so I can definitely tell that the ownership has changed hands and it has had nothing but a detrimental effect on the quality of the food. Firstly, we did not receive 2 of the items ordered and paid for and when we tried to call the phone just rang endlessly. Second, the pork in the pork fried rice is now a low-quality, reconstituted meat product instead of the real pork pieces it use to be. Also the pork fried rice smells fishy, a sure sign it was cooked in the same oil as shrimp, so if you have a serve allergy to shellfish, be aware. The same rice also had zero vegetables so basically just rice and the poor quality pork fried in fishy oil. The steamed dumplings are smaller and the meat is less flavorful as well as the dough much thinner. They do not have the chewy bite you want in a good dumplings. They also no longer give you free pops with every $10 purchase and the prices for many things went up SIGNIFICANTLY($3!) while the quality went down. Sadly this place no longer has the same quality or customer service, so after 40 years of frequenting we will be looking for a different Chinese restaurant.

Ming Chu serves the best Chinese food in the area. We used to frequent a few of the buffets in the area, but there was no comparison for quality and value. Now, we just order everything our family enjoys and eat it buffet style at home. They even add extra broccoli to our chicken with broccoli without an upcharge.
