This place is a GEM. Unique menu and everything is so full of flavor. Plenty of veg and gluten free options too! If you’re looking for delish, crowd-pleasing food and a cute small welcoming environment, this is your spot.

This was my first visit. I was not familiar with almost all of the menu items. The server was pleasant and informative. We ate there, and it is tight seating. You can order a lot of dishes as a wrap or a salad. The wrap is closer to crepe-like, but handled like a tortilla. The food was fresh and tasty. I’ll go back to try some again.

I was sad when I heard El Gallo was closing, but stoked when I found out Viking Soul Food was taking its place. I got the mushroom and hazelnut patties in lefse, and a pickled egg. The egg was delicious, like a really fancy deviled egg. The wrap was fantastic as well. I’ll definitely be back.

My favorite food on Woodstock! Please try this place out if you are curious. I am a return customer, have tried almost everything on the menu, and you cannot go wrong. I always order the Norwegian meatballs lefse and the pickled eggs and have never been less than amazed with what I get. I didn’t know that ‘caramelized cheese gravy’ existed, and now that I know it does, I cannot live with out it.

Excellent food and really, really great service. Last week I placed a to-go order and then was delayed by a family emergency. The waitstaff completely remade my order so it would be fresh when I was able to pick it up. Incredibly kind! We will be back.
