We came in at exactly 5PM when the restaurant opened. Our sever Roger gave us a very detailed description of the menu. We decided to order the the salad, steak with fries and dessert from the pre fixed menu. Additionally, we also ordered the Berkshire pork chop. Desserts came after the entree. The food was amazingly delicious and beautifully presented.

Food and service were incredible! I have tried almost every French bistro in SF as it is my favorite cuisine and almost everywhere has disappointed compared to French bistros I’ve tried elsewhere. I can barely get a decent cup of French Onion Soup in the city.

Fantastic food, but what would you expect from a protégé of Chef Alain Ducasse. I had the hanger steak with duck fat french fries. My wife had the sea scallops with pomme puree. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious.

This place just opened up at the Hyatt. Their breakfast buffet is really solid. Best buffet soft scrambled eggs I’ve had. Orange juice is fresh squeezed, and they have nice touches like French butter. They also had this oxtail onsen egg dish which was unique.

Everything including the cocktails and charcuterie plate was bad. The only thing that was good was the steak frites. The cod was just flavorless and so disappointing. The server was really nice though!

We were greeted warmly and with a sweet “Happy Anniversary” card waiting at our table. The host also offered us each a glass of sparkling rose for our celebration. Our server was top notch – very attentive and she had a wonderful smile. And the food… oh, the food. We practically ordered half the menu! Highly recommend!

My family visiting from NY and I had Thanksgiving dinner at La Societe. Outstanding French take on a traditional American meal which normally relies on quantity over quality. Chef Alex elevated the basics of Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and fall veggies into by far the best Thanksgiving meal my family has ever had. They were even able to accommodate a gluten-free member of our party. Service was generous and impeccable. Ambiance was energetic yet still allowed us to focus on one another at the table. We now have a new tradition for this holiday and I look forward to dining there again in general!
