I go here for lunch pretty often. Lots of their dishes are good including the octopus, beef carpaccio, risotto, and tiramisu. I also like their cocktails. They used to serve a good gin spritz and now they have a sparkling sangria.

I took my family out to dinner for my mother in laws birthday and we had a great time. my server was Kyre and he was very attentive and so thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure we not only had a great meal but had a even better experience I personally own several restaurants in the Boston neighborhood and I was impressed with his service and personality. I’ll be back with more family and more friends. I would have showed the food and dessert but it was eaten too fast so cheers to empty played

Danielle the hostess was so accommodating as she found us the coziest booth after we requested it. We then had Lily as our server, who made our night the absolute best. She was so personable, genuine, and made our night truly special. Food and drinks were both amazing. I love this place and have continued to come back because of experiences like this

One of the greatest dining experiences I had in the area. Gorgeous interior inside, perfect for occasional dining. I wasn’t very impressed by the food, but it tasted good. Out of 10 plates that my party ordered the only thing that stood out was my dessert, affogato. The rest had some minor taste issues, chicken was too dry, risotto was a bit undercooked, salmon was over cooked (asked for rare). But it was worth the visit anyway

We went at about 5:00 on Friday 9/1 for 1/2 price appetizers at the bar. We sat and noticed that US Open tennis was on one of the TVs further away from us so we asked our bartender/server if he would change the TV in front of us to the tennis. He told us that the TVs were pre-set and that he couldn’t change them. We frequent (used to) Il Massimo and whenever we have made this request in the past, they did it for us. He was lying and we knew it. A few minutes later two seats in front of the TV with tennis on opened up so we moved. On the counter behind the bar were the remotes for the TVs, the ones used to change the channel! Our server overheard us talking about it and avoided us for the rest of the time that we were there. We heard him ask other people if they wanted to put in any more food before 1/2 price apps ends but he did not ask us. Since dining out has become so much more expensive it has become more of a rare treat and something that we do less frequently. Therefore, unpleasant experiences are more unacceptable than they used to be. His tip reflected his quality of service. I won’t be back.

If you haven’t been to Il Massimo for brunch, you’re not brunching right. First off let me just say the ambience, and decor are both beautiful. Secondly, I cannot say enough about the Mimosa Bar, and the Brioche french toast. The french toast literally melted in my mouth. Not super heavy. actually surprisingly light, and fluffy. The Mimosa Bar included an assortment of juices (we ordered pineapple, and orange), and a bottle of Prosecco, which was very good, I don’t recall the brand. My brunch companion ordered the Crab cakes eggs Benedict & said it was amazing. We also ordered the Fried calamari to share, and it was so scrumptious. Definitely the best calamari I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. The staff is friendly, and attentive, yet not overbearingly so. Delightful experience all around. I cannot wait to go back for date night.
