Quintessential NYC. Truly Irish pub that will be a go-to for you. Cocktails, whiskeys and Guineas… Rules by Quinns Laws. Doug will always remember your name and take care of you and your friends and help you make connections that will count. It’s a pleasure. The food is fresh and hits the spot. It’s a great place to relax and unwind as you enjoy some of the good things and good spirits in life. Go again and again.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I visit it multiple times whenever I’m up here for work. Visited twice this week and brought co-workers who had never been, as always the wait staff and bartenders are always top notch. Very friendly and in tune to your needs. We had both dinner and multiple drinks both nights we visited. The new Hudson beer is great. See you next time!!!!!

I occasionally make reviews where I have had a disappointing experience, sometimes based on behavior encountered. This place is put forward as an old world, friendly neighborhood saloon. I ordered a scotch sour, which came in what seemed an unusually small glass, where not one more ice chip could have been fit into it, with what seemed a bit of scotch added to sour mix. I noted this to the waiter saying it was the ‘shortest pour’ I had ever seen. He agreed with my assessment and offered to take it back–I requested the drink “up” rather than on ice. He returned with a drink that looked identical, and could have been the same drink–certainly not a better drink and not without ice. The server was again apologetic but nothing changed. Drinking it felt like just getting a few sips of mostly mix from between the ice cubes. The food was good. The server was nice. But nothing was offered, nothing was done and nothing was deducted from the bill’s $15 cost of the drink. I paid the bill after very politely noting disappointment and left a good tip but will not return to a place that holds itself out as a drinking establishment where I politely indicated a problem, was told that I was right, but nothing was done other than take almost $50 from me for the experience. Too many good places for me to frequent to go back to a place with that sort of management practices.

First Class! From the atmosphere, food and drinks, this fine establishment will provide you with the true “old school” New York vibe. I spend around 30 days in NYC throughout the year, this is a must stop every time I’m in town. I also think it’s worth noting. Not only are you going to get the best atmosphere-service-food-drinks, you get all of this in a safe environment. Mr. Quinn, from his days at the other place (I forget the name because I stopped going) has a known reputation of protecting patrons and staff. Rare combination!

Great service! Knowledgeable staff helps pair food choices well. Had the Brooklyn Mussels with a nice Pinot Noir and loved them. Their fries are great! Recommended.

Visited for Saturday brunch with a friend and it was quiet and not crowded at all. The bar was very pretty and I liked the inside decoration. The price was reasonable, but the food was okay. The server was very attentive and kind.

Service was excellent. The burger was delicious, though i felt the patty was a bit small. It was piled high with toppings though!
