It’s such a disappointment to write this review. I’ve been looking forward to coming here for quite a while and I wish I came here under the old executive chef. Had an appointment at 8:30 the day before Valentine’s day. We arrived about 5 minutes early and they seemed confused by our reservation. We also had to flag someone down to let them know that we were here. There were only two other couples in the dining room and three open tables. Only one dish stood out and everything else was very bland. Knowing that Coi was previously a three-star demoted to a two-star I still had high expectations regardless of all of the negative comments. The food was nothing like they have on their website or their Instagram It was very simple very basic nothing that screamed Michelin star. We did the wine pairing It was definitely enough wine to split one pairing for two people if that was an option. Both tables around us got to thank you gift of beat gummy bears and what looked like a little toffee. I was disappointed we did not get anything. At the end of the night our tasting came to $1,300 and for the experience it was definitely not worth it and I’d have taken my money and gone to a better restaurant. Like I said Coi has been on my top list for a really long time and right now is just not worth it until something changes.

I will leave it to the foodie to get into the details of the food offerings. The service was on point without being to stuffy. The space is simple yet elegant which a lot like each plate of food, cleanly and beautifully presented without clutter. Without an element that’s not contributing to the dish. The parting give, black Truffle pastry, both sweet and salty the same time. So good!!

My wife and I dined at Coi last night. Every aspect of the experience was perfect. The food was delicious, creative, and beautiful. The wine pairings were a fantastic enhancement as well and were expertly matched with each dish. The service was top notch, and just what you would expect for a top tier establishment. We definitely recommend Coi!

TLDR: For the same price, I’d recommend Quince or Saison.

Amazing experience! Set menu only and very considerate of dislikes or allergies. Elaborate wine pairing and tea pairing as alternative. Very nice staff. This isn’t just food but an evening worth of tastes and a good time.

Beautiful food, good wine pairings, nice but awkward service, and *mediocre tasting dishes overall*, experience felt really uninspired compared to other two star Michelen restaurants and not at all worth the price. Their reputation is for their excellent presentation and yes it was excellent but so it should be at this level, it didn’t stand out compared to their competitors and I’d rather have good tasting food and a more considered dining experience if I’m paying over $1200 for two. In fact I’ve come to expect going to a place like Coi and being blown away by the food and experience. This was just disappointing in the end, never been to a two star or even a one star and walked away disappointed like that.

Great, intimate dining experience. A couple of absolute standout dishes. Best lamb I’ve ever had. The buttermilk ice cream and toasted oats was a surprisingly fulfilling dish.

Delicious and every dish was well thought out. Courses consisted of mainly seafood harvested from local areas. Pre fixe menu only. Tea pairing goes nicely with meal.
