I eat at Jimmy John’s almost weekly. This was my first time at the 69 South location as I was waiting for my bf to have dental work done next door. I placed my order in the drive through. Once I pulled up to the window, the drive thru lady open the window but never said a word. She just held the window open for the 2 minutes it took them to make my sandwich and stared at the computer screen frowning. It was very awkward and rude. A young black guy came from across the room to bring my sandwich. I’m assuming he was a delivery driver as he was wearing a jacket that was very wet from the active rain. He told me to have a good day. At the moment I grabbed my bag from him. The drive thru lady ( older short white lady) starts SNEEZING INTO THE AIR. I know this is Alabama and ppl don’t want to wear masks but if you’re sick you could at least wear a mask or cover your d*** mouth. Especially at a restaurant that serves cold food. Will not be back.

My first visit to Jimmy John’s and I was shocked that they dont offer heated or toasted sandwiches. Everything cold. Also no tray to carry your food to table. Hard to carry sandwiches chips drinks and napkins in your arms. The food was pretty good. Meats were fresh. Bread was fresh but not soft. Overall descent but probably won’t be back. I like a heated or toasted sub.

Worst experience at Jimmy Johns. Order placed at 6:50pm. No one showed up in an hour with my food. Driver said he knocked and no one answered, and said he called. I have no missed calls on my phone and have not left my apartment. Spoke to the manager and argued with me about answering the door. His solution was to come pick the food up at the store! No one came to my apartment! I worked at Jimmy Johns a few years ago. The only way a sandwich wasn’t delivered was if it was 3 in the morning and the drunk college student was passed out already!! I have never been this upset about any customer service. Done with Jimmy Johns.

Took them 6 times to take our order. Order was two number sevens. One with no lettuce. They both had lettuce, one had no peppers. What’s the point in ordering the “spicy” sandwich if there aren’t peppers? Total waste of money. Had to ask 3 times for the chips, then the expensive kickin’ ranch, that they place under the sandwiches, busted open. This location is by far the worst.

Called during lunch rush and they put me on hold. My coworker mentioned how easy it is to order online so I decided that would be best. When I got my order not only was it quickly delivered the receipt had an apology on it for putting me on hold along with a cookie for free.

I went to this location on Saturday July 11, 2020 and ordered the tuna on the thick sliced wheat bread. I didn’t order it special or anything. I left and went back to work, which is just down the sidewalk from there. I ate half my sandwich and reached for the other half and had mold on the tomato. I took it back and got my money back. Music is too loud to hear what they are saying to you in there and the two guys that was in there wasn’t friendly. It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

I am usually pleased with this location, but today the sandwich that I ordered was very skimpy. I ordered the turkey tom. When I received it, it was an 8 inch sub with 2 slices of thin turkey and a slice of cheese cut in half. I had it delivered. I payed $9.38. I had called to let them know I was not pleased with the portion and that this is not the usual portion size. So, I returned it.
