Fast food experience for sit down restaurant pricing. Would actually be cheaper to eat at sit down restaurant. $13 for taco platter. Tacos were small (shells smaller than you buy in store) with about 1 Tablespoon of meat filling. $12 for a bowl and much smaller than Chipotle. $6 extra if you want chips (free at sit down restaurant). I don’t drink soda and asked for water. Got the receipt and was charged $3 for water from fountain. I even asked about it when ordering and was not told there was a charge. Plastic silverware and bus your own table. Would not return or recommend.

I visit Burro Loco 3 times a month, or more. Today I ordered a chimichanga, and chicken burrito with extra chicken. When I got home the portions were very small, and no extra chicken. I spent an extra $3.00 for extra chicken but didn’t receive it.

The food here is really good and really good potion sizes. Their chipotle ranch sauce is amazing.! My problem with burro loco is their service. Today I made an online order for pick up. This is my second time doing this on my lunch break and the 2nd time my order has not been ready and I’ve had to wait 15 minutes for it! I have a limited time for lunch so if I place an order online, plenty of time in advance, I expect it should be ready. Especially somewhere like St. Francis where it is not busy by any means. The staff at the register literally look like they have no idea what they are doing. When I brought this up to the cash register person, she said I don’t know why it happened, I’ll reset the ordering system, it will be about 10 minutes for your food. She proceeded to take an order from 3 people while my tacos sat in the window and waited for her to dress them with toppings. She also forgot my guacamole and chips I had with my order, I had to remind her when she handed me the bag. Also got no apologies or coupon for the inconvenience, nothing. She made it seem like I was making it her fault instead of providing quality customer service. Bottom line is the food is good, service are horrible

I’ve been twice ordering at this place, both times I had a bad time. The first time I came I ordered a burrito and there was too much rice in it. The second time I came here, we ordered 3 burritos that were all the same things inside, when we ate we noticed that it wasn’t the things we ordered, in one of the burrito it was almost vegetarian, it wasn’t the meat we ordered but still paid for it. If you want to have a good time, don’t go there.

Got the Asada fries and a Horchata. The Horchata was fantastic, with a nice rich flavor. The sauces and toppings on the fries were good but the asada tasted a little old and was a little chewy. The fries seemed like the battered Sysco fries but not really knocking that if it’s their only application of fries. Overall it was ok but probably good considering it was in St. Francis.

This is my 3rd time trying Burro loco and first time trying their quessabirria tacos. For $18 I expected them to be much better than what I received. The only flavor I tasted was cheese and the au jus is literally au jus, not consommé which is what is supposed to be with birria. I ordered for to go and by the time I had opened it the top for the au jus had melted off and gotten all over the container. I also got the chips and salsa with a side of queso. The salsa lacks heavily in any flavor and or spice. The queso is the only thing that was worth my $30 order. Needless to say I’ve learned my lesson and will not be returning.

We visited on a Tuesday for lunch. From outside -couldn’t tell if open or not – on sign on /off hard to tell from parking lot ( not illuminated or very very low light or not on…)Noticed approx one other party seated in the restaurant. Didn’t seem too busy. Upon arrival music was not playing… it was very awkward how quiet it was. We ordered two different meals one was really pretty good ( burger and dirty fries) (the other- tacos.)Tacos: surprisingly bland as if they didn’t add enough salt- The taco meat was quite tasteless , not savory which was actually quite a disappointment -pretty bad( was looking forward to enjoying a good authentic taco.)For the higher price paid and quality- kinda pricey. $$$—-Wanted regular Pepsi or Coke – nope they out of Coke! Choices diet Coke, or Mtn dew -or …Really?? Served in Can – perhaps someone needs to go to grocery store and GET more – just a thought? Hoping this was just an off day for place n I will give another try on a different day of the week to see if cook or recipe is different- fingers crossed

I retracted my 3 star review as the owner reached out to rectify the issue. I do not need the reimbursement as long as there is a fix going in to place. As even tonight, it seems my order didn’t go through. As when I arrived, there was a bit of scrambling and then my order was made. If it is a POS system, I will give the benefit of the doubt as food has always been top notch over the almost 2 years I’ve frequented your place. Thank you again for reaching out through response. Burgers were OK, Burrito was pretty much just all rice and bland. Mini tacos were meh. We got a side of chips and salsa, ended up throwing them out as the salsa was more like tomato soup, and the chips were greasy old fryer oil tasting. Way over priced for what we got.
