Absolutely amazing; if we stay in Beaufort in the future we will exclusively eat here. Such a cute spot- ambience was great, service was perfect, it was upscale with a casual & comfortable feel.

Went for dinner with my wife this weekend for the first time. Amazing experience! Attentive and authentic service, great relaxing and romantic atmosphere and that lobster bisque, oh man… after the amazing bisque I had the daily special “Grouper Oscar style” and it was perfect! Wine selection is good and surprisingly affordable. Finished the night off with a great Key Lime pie. We will be back every time we visit Beaufort!

The Blue Moon Bistro is a high class dining experience with the slow comfortable atmosphere you’d expect from the south. My waitress, Liv, was one of the most friendly and interactive wait-staff I’ve ever encountered and the food was to die for! The heirloom tomato tart redefined my expectations and shook me to the core. For my main course I had the shrimp and country ham pasta, which was also executed to perfection. It was extremely balanced and made use of the flavors of each ingredient. I ended my night with a slice of key lime pie and needless to say it was the perfect note to end on! If you’re ever in the area swing by the Blue Moon Bistro and you WON’T be disappointed!

We had an amazing dinner here while in Beaufort for our wedding anniversary. Started with some great cocktails. I loved the French 1827 and husband liked Smokey Apricot Old Fashioned but really enjoyed the Summer Sorghum Manhattan. We enjoyed the heirloom tomato tart as our appetizer. He had the nights special duck quarter with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. I had hands down the best filet that I’ve had in a while, better than many steakhouses. It was covered in a red wine demi with a fois gras butter! The service was wonderful, attentive but not bothersome. The place has a lovely interior, very comfortable. As a treat they gave us a delious creme brulee for our anniversary. Will definitely eat there our next visit.

When I rate a restaurant, I look at the ambiance, the service, food taste and appearance, and lastly the price. Blue Moon has it all.

We loved the Blue Moon Bistro. Everything was excellent from the service to the food. The cocktails were fantastic. I highly recommend the lobster bisque. The scallops were perfection. This is a perfect spot for date night and definitely a “must” if you are vacationing in Beaufort!

Blue Moon is hands-down the best restaurant I have ever been to for accommodating dietary restrictions. The staff was incredibly helpful in telling me which options were already made to suit my needs, and the chef was more than willing to make changes to items on the menu that weren’t. I was impressed at how easy it was to eat here with my dietary restrictions.

I had the most amazing server Eva. She was such a delight and was extremely helpful with my selections. The bistro salad was nice and refreshing. She also brought out the most delectable croissants with marmalade butter. But then my Fettuccine aux Fruits de Mer fell flat. What I assumed was a white wine buttery sauce was sooooo vinegary. You would think fresh seafood would have a light sauce that would not compete with all the ingredients. Especially since I had a salad with vinaigrette I was looking forward to a contrasting flavor profile. It was such an offensive dish but Eva made my experience memorable. She genuinely was an attentive server and checked on my needs throughout the night.
