A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. The food tasted okay but the portion was very sad. I really love the taste of their fish so I was sad when the size of the big meal I paid for was so small. The hushpuppies used to taste so good and they’re not that good anymore. They totally made a good portion size with macaroni and the corn is always good.

We stop here every now and again and everytime we do the food is always been good. And the service has always been a good experience from either walking into the place or going thru the drive thru. Never had to wait long to receive our orders…

How would anyone think that this potato would be acceptable? We spent $23 on two to-go meals. The food was not fresh and barely warm. After I ordered, I noticed that the floor was filthy. I guess I should have left at that point. Just overall disappointed with this experience. Will not be back.

Went thru the drive thru ordered 2 supreme samplers, fried oysters and extra shrimp. Got home to discover one sampler had 2 pieces of chicken and no fish and the other had 2 pieces of fish and no chicken. Called the store Raven offered to fix the order if we drove back.drove back to be given 2 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of chicken. Now all the food is cold except what we drove back to get. Have you ever eaten cold fried okra or fried fish or butterfly shrimp or fried oysters? No because it’s gross! Thanks for a crummy experience. We were the only car in the drive thru when this occurred. Very disappointed

My husband waited 30 minutes in the drive thru, then got home and found they shorted the chicken in a two piece fish and chicken meal. The meal was $15 and only had two pieces of fish. Horrible manager said we could come get the chicken if we wanted. It’s a 30 minutes drive so no of course not. Then the manager said she could give our money back because it had been longer than 30 minutes. It wouldn’t have been more then 30 minutes if they hadn’t taken so long to give him his food. Then I was told by the manager that the GM would call me. Of course they didn’t call because they clearly don’t care about getting things right or customer service. WORST!!!

Still no refund, nov 1stWaisted over an hour, if your over 30mins in returning the food they can’t refund you. which I got back in line.With all that half the order was missing all I got was burned up fish, as you can see I ordered alot more..They can not refund you.it has been 3 weeks I got a reply from a manager for a full refund. I get to the restaurant they want to remake me the order. I dont want the food I didn’t want the first time . I have had to send a bunch of personal info to a corporate web page. It’s been three weeks, not days and one email back. I have called corporate the number given was invalid. When I Googled the actual number I was abel to leave messages. Still no other response than to my reviews. I have never had such a hard time just getting a refund in my life. When it was there mistake from the beginning I paid for my food and their 30 minimum refund window expired before I got to see the last window. I was patient even telling the cashier to tell the other customers behind me I was a crazy coupon lady to take some of the heat off. All I want is my refund and to never have to deal with this place again.I pity the workers because this isn’t any way to run a restaurant.

May wanna check the camera feed and see who is biting the lemons and sucking them dry while they prep the produce , and then putting them in the tubs to be served . Not sure if that falls under adulterating food or not . But 100% positive it’s how hepatitis and other nastiness can be spread . Probably not the only thing that happens to the food there .
