Great lahpet thoke tea leaf salad!! I have been to Burma/Myanmar a few times and lived for years in Thailand where I had Burmese food often. The quality here is incredible, especially with my favorite salad, the flavors and ingredient quality were all spot on. Nice service staff. The fiery tofu dish was also good, unsure if authentic, but tasty with coconut rice. Generous portions. I only wish it wasn’t so loud in here, but five star food. Impressed!

For starters, service was extremely slow. No hostess when we arrived (waited 10 minutes at the door) and it took a while to get an order in once seated, but I will say our waitress was very nice. Portions are skimpy for the price. I ordered the shrimp and eggplant and it was pretty much 70% eggplant, but it tasted OK. Now the garlic noodles…boy was it SALTY. Practically inedible. Salt was so overpowering it was all I could taste. It was Mother’s Day, my kids were getting restless and I don’t like to complain, so we picked at it and left. Cucumber lemonade was good, outdoor seating nice. Maybe it was an off day for them but I don’t know if we’ll be back.

A bit too pricey for what we got. The chef’s special fish plate was just a small portion with no sides for around 30 dollars. The fish turned out cooked inconsistently as well. The patio was nice but it took them a while to come out and ask for what we wanted. Overall underwhelming experience.
