They got our order wrong in the store and when we went up to let them know the manager jumped down our throats. We just wanted chicken on our taco and the manager said well you didn’t pay for that. We didn’t have a problem paying for it, but the manager apparently did not like us telling them our order was wrong. It felt like we were being punished for asking them to correct our order. It was like an act of congress to finally pay $1 for another taco. But the manager was not going to let us pay for it without telling us all about it first. Very unprofessional. They lost customers over a $1 taco. Unreal.

We had two #7s one with a soft taco and one with a soft taco sub chicken. Our tacos were wrong and so my husband took the those items up to the front to be corrected. The manager refused to fix the taco that was supposed to be chicken because she said it wasn’t paid for. When we ordered, it was stated we wanted chicken on the one taco instead of beef. It was said twice. The lady at the register (who was nice as can be, and very apologetic) didn’t ring up the taco as sub chicken and so we weren’t charged the $0.70 for the up charge. Had I noticed it wasn’t charged I would have said something, but it wasn’t noticed. The manager said to my husband, with so much attitude and hatred, she wouldn’t fix the taco without us paying the difference. At this point I come up to see what is going on. She kept insisting she couldn’t fix the taco because I needed to pay the 70 cents. I normally would have without hesitation paid that difference, but it wasn’t our fault it wasn’t charged for (it had been asked for when ordering twice). After trying to explain to her it was not our fault and we had asked for the chicken when ordering she wouldn’t listen. She just kept saying they had to charge to fix it. Then other employees from the kitchen joined in on how they cant give stuff away for free and having attitude. After going back and forth on trying to explain the situation, the manager got a side of chicken in a bowl to give to me. I asked if she could put it on a taco shell because that’s what we had ordered. Her response was that we had one. We had one with beef in it. We didn’t want a beef and chicken taco. Finally I told her to forget it and asked she just make the other taco right. It had came as a hard shell instead of a soft shell. She said she wouldn’t do it. (During this time, my husband came up to pay for the up charge of the chicken so that he could get the right taco. ) A guy working the kitchen on the food line came up to see what the other taco was supposed to be and the manager insisted that I couldn’t have it because it wasn’t paid for. She wouldn’t stop arguing long enough to listen that I wasn’t talking about the chicken taco at this point, which had just been paid for by my husband to make the nonsense stop. The lady at the register was humiliated and very apologetic. She told the manager multiple times it was her fault for not ringing up the chicken up charge. The manager wouldn’t listen to the cashier and insisted it was our problem because we didn’t pay for it. Before I walked off I tried to tell the cashier it wasn’t her fault and the manager hollered “well whose fault is it?” I just looked at her and said it was her fault for taking it out of proportion. If you have video in store, please watch it. Watch how your manager responded to something simple. Had the manager been even somewhat nice, there would of been no question about paying the measly 70 cents. We have always thought highly of the Brownsville Taco Bell and commented how amazing and nice your staff is. This manager will ruin this store with the sour attitude and aggressive behavior she has.

Placed an order online through the app while I was at work as I have done numerous times. When I got to the store, they acted like they did not have my order. I pulled up to the window and they asked me to pull up. My experience with that has not been so good in the past, so I told them thanks, but no thanks. They got my order together and the sassy manager told me that I needed to put my order in earlier in the future. I told her that I had placed my order the same way numerous times and never had a problem. She was really unprofessional and unfriendly. The service has really gone down since the store moved to the new location!

I ordered 2 Mexican pizzas and 2 burritos with no sour cream. My pizzas weren’t cut and no meat, made totally with beans and both burritos had sour cream in them and the speaker attendant kept acting like she couldn’t hear me with an attitude.

This is a relatively new Taco Bell and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. They did a great job and made sure everything was great. The food and service were great. If you are in the area check it out.

This young immature employees at this location refused to give me 6.99 dollar’s back had my receipt then them unprofessional manager say leave her drive though before she call the police I talked to the police he was laughing over 6.99 lady damn I need to speak to taco about this I can only imagine what she would have done if I order a family box

This was by far the worst Taco Bell I’ve ever stepped foot in. The employees were incredibly rude. We ordered and sat down at one of the only clean tables we could find. We should’ve left after seeing the store, but that’s another matter. They took about 20 minutes to get our food out, and forgot a cheesy rollup. It took 15 MINUTES to get the cheesy rollup. Literally a tortilla with melted cheese. While we were eating, they locked the door to keep other people from coming in. We were the only ones inside, they weren’t busy. It was simply so they didn’t have to work. We unlocked the door to let someone in because this was absurd. After we left they locked the door behind us again. Most of our food was incorrect but we chose not to bring it up because it took so long and the competence was questionable. I highly recommend eating anywhere else.
