Everything has always been good here except for the green beans. I randomly try them and they taste like they’re straight out of the can. I love their French fries and their smothered chicken breast. My mom loves the pork chops! Staff is friendly 🙂

Excellent food, prompt and friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. The fried chicken and buffet is delicious and very reasonably priced (10.99 including salad bar the day we went). Located right on Lake Butler Lake. They have an outdoor dining area with lake view, bar and weekend entertainment.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious! I had the grouper fingers and they were so good and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy, the fried okra was some of the best I’ve had. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, and couldn’t put it down! Two thumbs up from me! I’ll definitely come here again when I’m in the area.

Everyone around us has wonderful looking and smelling food. I would not know because after over an hour of waiting and being told several times that part of our order was ready we were just waiting on one person’s food and it will only be another 5 minutes we got up and left. I guess it was nice to keep us updated on the status of our order, but there were 4 of us, and everyone something would be ready the waitress would come to our table and let us know. So we know that the first plate done sits there for 20 minutes getting cold while we wait for the other three. I hope this was an isolated incident, and i will try it again just because the server was very nice, and everyone else around us has such good looking and smelling food.

Pleasant surprise. We stopped to get a Togo order. I had taco special with shrimp and steak. It was very good. The salsa tasted homemade. My husband had the southern chicken with green beans and cheese grits. Everything was great including the service. We’ll stop by again if we’re ever in town.

I have now gone here twice;once for dinner and once during the lunch rush. Both times we were promptly waited on and the service was excellent. The steak they had on special was very tasty and the fries were awesome. Didn’t have to send anything back. Never ran out of drinks and the place was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the buffet was for lunch. Very fresh and piping hot, yummy food.

Very dissatisfied with our meal. I had the rib eye, since they were out of the sirloin, and it was a very tough cut of meat. I asked for it to be cooked medium, but it was closer to well done. The fries were very greasy and tasted like fish. My wife’s chicken tenders were devoid of flavor as was her corn on the cob – which they didn’t even provide butter for. The food is definitely not worth the prices and the wait staff was completely inattentive.

From the beginning the service was painfully slow but at least the food was good. Now they don’t even have that going for them. The wait staff is inexperienced and untrained. Not once in 5 visits have i gotten my order in less than 30 minutes (it once took more than an hour) and there’s always been something missing. I really really wanted this place to succeed. Lake Butler needs a decent restaurant. I hope that management can pull it out.

I’m not usually one to complain but this place should probably stop serving food until they can acquire a fully trained staff. It took nearly an hour for our food to be served and every single plate had something wrong with it.. missing items, under or over cooked, and a burger with several small black hairs. We never received drink refills, not once.. here’s the kicker: we were the only table of people there! I have worked for and managed locally owned and operated restaurants and don’t understand how this is being used as an excuse. I also don’t understand how management is claiming ‘uncontrollable’ issues in some of their replies to poor reviews… cleanliness and properly trained staff are certainly controllable. If this were my restaurant or if I were the manager I would be there personally overseeing the kitchen staff or cooking the orders myself until new staff could be trained.. open to close if need be. There’s no excuse!
