To start, I called here shortly after they opened and I was able to make a reservation for dinner without a problem. We were seated quickly once we arrived and the server took care of us. The food we ordered was pretty good and it met our expectations. We were in the restaurant a while, but the server wasn’t overbearing at all, which I really appreciated. He checked in just enough. The atmosphere was a little dark, but it was also a cloudy day, so the glass windows at the front of the restaurant had no sun to let in. This is a good Italian spot downtown if that’s what you’re looking for!

The food is not authentic Italian, the deep fried lasagne was not lasagna it had no layers or meat, the meatballs were also sadly disappointing. The waiter forgot the Parmesan we requested twice. Just not our kind of food I guess. The atmosphere is nice and it’s a cute place and they were quick to seat us, but overpriced.

We celebrated my granddaughters birthday here. The food was great, service was very good. They had a guitarist to add to the atmosphere but it was too loud none of us could hear what the other was saying.

Nonna’s was great! Overall food was delicious and the live music really set the scene! The real Italian is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The waiter said if I was feeling adventurous to try the fried lasagna, I would not recommend that but that was my call and only one menu item. We liked it so much we tried to return but they were closed on Mondays. next time!

The food was very good. Atmosphere quaint. Chairs a bit uncomfortable and table space tight. Service was good. The creme brulee cheesecake and canolli was a perfect ending.

It was a quiet Saturday night, the restaurant was empty. So, the server should have found it fairly easy to do their job. But let me just say I am very disappointed in the experience I had at this establishment. Hunter N. was the server. Upon sitting us at our table he immediately left without asking if we wanted water or drinks. It took him several minutes before he returned from his leisurely conversation with his coworker. When he did return, I asked for lemon with my water. After several more minutes he brings us the water no lemon. After ordering drinks and food, prepared to enjoy a nice quiet meal, the server is very inconsiderate. He and his coworker decided that it would be okay for them to play videos on their phone and engage in loud conversation and laughter not even ten feet away from the table at the bar. I found that this was just blatantly rude and inconsiderate behavior from the server staff. Not once did he check and ask if the food was to our liking he just engaged in loud conversation with his coworker and paced in and out of the restaurant. I try to get his attention for the check as we are done and very ready to leave unsatisfied with the quality of the meal and service. He acknowledged my signal for the check but on his way back he engages in more leisurely conversation with his coworker and takes his time getting to the table. We asked for the check and proceeded to wait at least 5 minutes for it to arrive… I remind you my table was the only one in the resurant. After getting my check I then had to wait 10-15 minutes for him to return. Waiting that long to pay for my meal in an empty restaurant is ridiculous. Overall, I am unhappy with the service, experience and meal my partner and I shared last night.

It has been a while since we ate here, but they still have exceptional food and friendly staff. Their crembrulee cheesecake was an indulgence but, was worth it. We had to caution the kids to contain their enthusiasm for it. I haven’t seen them lavish that much praise on anything that didn’t come from grandma’s house. No picture of it though because they could not contain themselves.

Our waiter was great. The bread they brought to the table was not what I would expect. It was very dense and pretty dry. The Gnocchi Ragu was good. My wife loved the Seafood Risotto. It was a very nice place. If the bread was better, it would be a solid 4.

We used to love Nonna’s and would go there fairly regularly. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. We had not been to Nonna’s since a little before the pandemic and were excited to go back for an anniversary dinner.
