My husband took me to The Cellar for Mother’s Day! It was Fabulous! They have the freshest salad with amazing garlic or green goddess dressing. Their cheese spread appetizer is one of a kind! They serve a unique and out of this world charbroiled shrimp dinner! We can’t wait to return!

Even though we have been here in the past, perhaps maybe I should of read some of the reviews beforehand that also expressed displeasure about their experiences here. When I called to make my reservation, I was assured that when requested they will dim the lights and sing “Happy Birthday” when serving the slice of cake (that you purchase). When I spoke to our waitress about it, she said she doesn’t sing but led me to believe that someone else there could?!? Well the cake was delivered and that was about it. Also, when we first arrived we were totally ignored by the “hostess” and the waitress for several minutes as they both were too busy on their phones to acknowledge us. It’s sad that the “lazy susan” of salad dressings is no longer offered, and I’m sorry but one tiny serving given just doesn’t make up for that and we didn’t dare ask for more. I will say that the cauliflower and the french fries were delicious. Before the meal was almost over we did ASK for our TWO whole sticky buns. I am glad I spoke up when our cheese & crackers were about to leave our table as we were not done with them yet. Plus, I think I should have been asked if the black folder with the check (and either cash or credit card) was ready to be picked up instead just coming up to the table and opening it. I didn’t put the money in it yet because I was still eating. One saving grace was the wonderful service from the bus boy……he was great!

I had mixed feelings about our experience. On the upside the food was good on the other side the service not so much. Our waitress was all business and not too warm and fuzzy. With no warm welcome or greeting we were asked what we would like to drink. We had two children with us and as one child was deciding what he would like the waitress (after allowing less than 5 seconds for him to decide) said ” do you know what you want? If not I’m going to have to come back because I have food up! So his mother hurriedly made a choice for him. That did not set the tone for the evening we looked forward to. We were seated by a bow style window with a nice deep ledge. My friend and I had set our purse’s on the window shelf/ledge. After the waitress took our order she says ” you’ve taken up my ledge and went over and shoved my friends purse all the way to the back corner of the ledge . I guess she uses it to set down her tray is what we were thinking . There’s no ledge available around the other tables is what we were thinking. All us in agreement that she was being very rude, I said to my friend that we were not going to let this ruin our evening. Since this was the first time in 6 months to get together we were really looking forward to an enjoyable evening together so we tolerated the rudeness. After I went home and thought about it , it upset me even more. My friends were from out of town and I was embarrassed because it was my idea to meet here for dinner. We brushed it off and enjoyed our time together. She was very efficient but not so welcoming or friendly. We also asked to see the children’s menu and she said they didn’t have one. It says right on the menu ” ask for the children’s menu”.

We were treated horribly. “Someone” erased our reservation. They were not going to seat us. We had to argue to get a table. No apology, no complimentary cup of coffee or glass of wine. They finally sat us by the bathrooms. Never returned to see how we were doing. Gavin , our server, was great. I will think twice about coming back again.

No matter where I go, I cannot get as good of a meal as I can at The Cellar. The steaks are impeccable, the salads and sides are perfectly “supper club” and delicious at the same time. The cocktails are a bit lite, but still on point, and the dinner rolls are to die for.

Went last night, had a glass of lemonade spilled on me, slacks and top, when the bill came, only compensation I received was a free lemonade! The 4 of us and our friends will not be back! It ruined my late anniversary dinner, we left early!! I was sticky, cold and miserable. Would I recommend it, NO! At least they could of offered a free meal. On our way out I made sure the people waiting knew about it, they were not pleased. People in the next table couldn’t believe I was only given my me the lemonade free, they said they wouldn’t be back, that makes 6 more! Will NOT be back

First time there. Great steak and service. Definitely going back. I had the ribeye and my wife had the salmon. We also had the mushrooms/onion rings. All was great!

Been going here for years. Award winning charcoal grilled steaks. New York strip is my go too delicious and tender. Old school supper club vibe and yes it’s in the cellar. Two good size dining rooms with a full bar and a separate party room. Some gaming machines in the bar. Some crackers with a delicious cheese spread to start. Recommend the onion rings and mushrooms as a appetizer. Steaks and Catfish are always great here. Free sticky buns as a dessert after your meal also have several paid selections as well. Large variety of table sizes so no matter your group size they can seat you. Reservations are recommended most nights. This place has been around forever for a reason, give them a try you’ll love it.

This place reminded me of the places my parents took me as a kid. No games or gimmicks, no carefully worded menus full of all the current foodie buzz words- just an incredible dinner with one of the best filets I can remember eating. The meal was perfect in every way.

We have always loved the Cellar. Went there recently for anniversary and had an unbelievable BAD meal! Not one of us but both of us. Mushy catfish, tough shrimp with a bit of a different sauce and the rice was “glumpy” not fluffy. For the price we paid we were so disappointed. The service was excellent as always! We will be going somewhere else for our celebrations from now on. The 2 stars are for the service.
