Amazing food and amazing service. I ordered the vegan pancit and the flavour was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised because it was vegan and I usually love lechon or chicken in it. I also tried the chicken inasal and fell in love immediately. Flavour was perfect as well! Masarap!!

Food was topnotch, highly recommended. We ordered the Inasal, (Vegan) Pancit, Ensaladang Talong, Biko, and their signature cocktail Spicy Calamansi. Everything was perfect! Huge quality servings. Our guests loved the pancit, and the Ensalada is a must-order. Chef Wing was so accomodating and prepared all of these in such short notice. Excellent food, even better service. A++, will definitely order again

Chef Wing helped plan a wonderful weekend dinner for me even after the pop-up closed. We had an amazing 5-course meal in a private space. Each course was outstanding in its own unique way, and I would urge anyone who is on the fence about trying this meal to absolutely do so. I am looking forward to supporting Chef Wing and experiencing what other delights he’ll create in the future.

Chef Wing is amazing! We had the Chicken Inasal, Ensaladang talong, BBQ skewers, and Halayang ube dessert. This was our first time trying Filipino food, and it far exceeded our expectations. Balangay is currently operating out of Sospeso on H street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so be sure to stop by! We will definitely be back

Amazing food and ambiance! We ordered the fried calamari and spring Rolls, love the small bites. Main dishes – chicken inasal: tender chicken and beautifully seasoned with house sauce, green beans- love the texture and mix of vegi, and short rib bistek- super amazing! The bistek melts in your mouth, super tender and to die for. I also ordered cilantro martini- yummy and fun! We’ll be returning to Balangay.

DC’s newest Filipino pop-up restaurant!!! Came here last night for dinner—the pop-up venue is very small and luckily for a Thursday night, it was not packed. Had reservations for 2, but there was enough ample seating at the bar to dine and drink so we choose to sit there instead.

I give this place 10⭐️. We love all the food. Authentic Filipino food served with fine dinning flavors and presentation. The Chef definitely elevated the flavors in every dish. I have been to Kuya Ja’s, Kaliwa and Purple Patch and this place is hands down my favorite! It doesn’t look like much from the outside but you will be glad you stop by. The staff was diverse and phenomenal. Very inviting, polite, and attentive. I will definitely be stopping by. #pinoypride!

By bringing both his creative skills and his years of experience in various restaurants to the table, you’re sure to have a wonderful evening. The rest of the team is very kind, and the cocktails are fun! Check them out as soon as you can.
