What began as a humble organic CSA showcasing the Central Coast’s bounty quickly evolved into a popular destination for creatively prepared, honest food.
We believe in the significance of organic, regionally-produced food, working with California purveyors for our poultry, fish, beef, lamb, and exotic meats. Nearby farmers provide our fruits and vegetables, which are always straight-from-the-earth fresh, and our breads are crafted by local bakers who are celebrated artisans of their trade.
We are currently serving both indoor and outdoor.

The steak and potatoes were amazing. Great pairing with an Austin Hope wine. Again, the potatoes were delicious. I will say my Med was bordering Med-Well, so I’d recommend the Med Rare. Either way, I still give it a 5 star.

What a pleasant surprise! As a local, we didn’t have any expectations, but our guest mentioned it, so off we went. Fantastic staff, so friendly and attentive! Our water was filled repeatedly and with a smile! The biscuits scrumptious! Just get them!! Butternut squash soup was warm and inviting. I think it had some anise in it, which is a flavor that can be polarizing, but I enjoyed it! I had crab cakes that were filled with a lot of crab and tasty. The fish of the day was halibut, expertly grilled. So good! The rack of Lamb… succulent, well cooked but needed some seasoning. Lemon curd, beyond good with that little cookie! Yum! The bread pudding, enough for 2 or 3 people, also very tasty. All in all, a meal worthy and a visit that demands a return to try more goodness!

We had dinner tonight and the hostess was delightful and our server sandy was excellent. This was Memorial Day weekend so the town was slammed and yet the staff treated us attentively and with warmth. The meal exceeded expectations from the carrot soup to dessert of olive cake! My main course of salmon was perhaps the best salmon I have ever had. The dish was cooked moist and soft yet the skin had that crispy almost bacon like crunch that only salmon can deliver. The chef knocked it out of the park. My wife had the flat iron steak which was cooked perfectly. The vegetables on each plate were fresh, creative and elevated the meal to fabulous. So nice when the chef provides a thoughtful and balanced plate which has flavor, beauty and both the quality and taste jump off the plate. Dinner for two was $125.

Our server Jennifer went above and beyond! Upon hearing we visited for my birthday, she brought a complimentary glass of champagne. The winter salad was delicious. We recieved the incorrect entree, but Jennifer noticed without our mention and quickly remedied the situation. She also offered a free dessert for the mixup, and the chocolate torte did not disappoint! All in all a wonderful experience, with friendly staff, and I would definitely return.

What can I say…. it was wonderful. Food was EXTREMELY FRESH and service was friendly. My favorite thing I ate was the yam puree which was apart of the steak dish. Everyone in our party was happy with their dishes. The dessert is from a local bakery called Angela’s-olive oil cake yummy. Coffees and tea were also excellent. Would recommend.

With a short break from wine tastings, we decided to eat lunch here. The kitchen was about to close up so we ordered something quick, Chicken liver pate, Cubano and Cured smoked salmon toast. All the dishes were well presented and delicious! Such a great find!
