Hope and pray you have found blessings at your new location. I’m just watching mexi papa’s youtube video and me not being a big tamale fan would love to try yours out!

They make the best tamales hands down! Better get there early if you want some. Its a food truck in the middle of Watts so you might run into some weirdo, but it’s worth the hike. They always park on Wilmington facing South. I’ve been buying their tamales for the last 20 years. When I have the craving they are my to go place.

I give their red tamales a rating of 10! I recently tried their shredded beef hard shell tacos; I give their tacos, described above a rating of 3; they are super small and they cost between $2 – $3. I honestly thought they would be a bit bigger for the price. The taste was pretty good but I felt cheated when I saw that they were too small. They overcharge you. If they would make them bigger, they would be worth it. I will continue to buy their red tamales (their green chile chicken tamales are really good also), but I will never buy their tacos again!

Delicious homemade style food. A taste of Guerrero in Compton. Order ahead for a shorter wait.

This is a hidden gem and you wouldn’t even think they sell anything other than Tamales but let me tell you… their tacos de barbacoa are amazing with the side of consomé. Their tamales are also great but have became smaller throughout the years but still pretty tasty. Their salsas are always on point the red one is my personal favorite don’t say I didn’t warn you because it’s HOT but it’s also tasty.

Food is losing its flavor. Their meat flavor is blands, I remember how tasty it used to be but now it lacks flavor. Tamales are kind of dry. I lost interest in going their. Hope they put interest in making their food as great as it used to be.

Monday thru Friday the tamales taste good. Saturday and Sunday they taste way different. I believe someone else is doing them on the weekends because they don’t taste the same. They are also way smaller too.
