Had birthday dinner for my father here and the food was very good . The escargot was ok as well as the steak tartare but the chips with the steak tartare were exceptional . The scallops and steak frites also were very delicious . The ambiance was nice and the patrons were all interacting with each other and very friendly as well. The sever was a bit cold and aloof which was strange especially given the environment .

We ordered the escargot, the steak tartar with quail egg for appetizers, the duck, and steak fries for dinner. We had two glasses of delicious Bordeaux and a cocktail and coffee. The only average thing was the escargot, which was not so special. All the other items were excellently made and presented. We were celebrating a birthday. We got one dessert. Each dinner costs $42. The bill was approximately 200+ dollars. I was very surprised to see that they had charged for the one dessert. I find that many other restaurants gift the desert for the birthday. It was a bit disappointing that it was not done to make the birthday guest feel special. They lost a star for that in my eye.

We had an amazing meal at La Fable. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. They have a great wine list and serve bread with triangles of butter that are simply delightful to eat.

Transport yourself to the south of France just off the boardwalk in Rehoboth! Fantastic yet simple menu, with a modest but well thought wine list. Our party of 4enjoyed the escargot, cheese and charcuterie plate, steak frites (minus the frites, c’est la vie), trout almandine, bouillabaise, halibut, a french Syrah, with an espresso and chocolate mousse for dessert. Absolutely delicious.

My wife and I were here last night for our wedding anniversary. Our waiter was very kind and attentive and offered us two complimentary glasses of champagne. My wife ordered the rainbow trout and I ordered the canard. Both dishes were pretty incredible. The combination of flavors in each dish were really inspired. At the end of our meal, being too stuffed for dessert, our waiter brought out two macaroons for us for our anniversary. Really a must visit restaurant!

This was a quaint little restaurant to visit and the food was delicious, despite the prices on the website being outdated. The presentation of the soup in a big bowl was disappointing since it was only a little bit in it.

We had dinner here during our vacation this week and loved the cuisine so much that we went back again two days later. This is among the very best French cuisine we have ever had. Apparently the chef is a young French immigrant who trained in France and follows authentic recipes. Every meal is perfect, authentic and on point. The bread is perfect, the salad is fresh, the entrees are perfectly cooked and the sauces are rich and flavorful. Service was excellent. We cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant!

Easily the best dining experience we had while visiting Rehoboth, and one of the best this year. Even having never dined there before, within minutes of being seated, we felt welcomed and part of their family. Everyone was genuine in their appreciation and everyone was vested in ensuring an amazing experience. The menu featured classic offerings that were all well prepared. The escargot was simple and one of the few I have had that was not overly garlicky. The Saffron Boulebais was exceptionally well seasoned and none of the shellfish or seafood were over cooked, all just perfectly cooked. Thank you to Nick for your exceptional service!

We came to La Fable yesterday. Have been in France many times and wanted nice French food. There were some good dishes there. My steak tartare and duck confit were excellent. However my husband and son’s beef bourguignon was not- overcooked and very saulty, they did not like it at all. Bouillabaisse was okay. I ordered cream brulee, it was not good at all. Too thick with flour, and the crust on the top, which should be light and crisp was thick and very hard. My husband got a shot of Remy Martin, and was disappointed that it came in a cold glass, although every person drinking cognac or brandy knows that they pour it in a warmed glass to wake up the flavor. For four of us we spent $500 including tip, but the experience did not really feel French or worth the money. I was the luckiest of the group, loved my confit, but it felt like prepared by a different person in the kitchen.

Excellent French fare with knowledgeable and attentive servers. We had the escargot, fromage plate, scallops, and duck à l’orange followed by chambord cake and chocolate mousse for dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed each and every dish. We will definitely be returning!
