I go to Scooters every day and get the exact same thing. EVERY DAY. I usually go to the Fort Madison location (I have never had a bad experience there, the employees and drinks are always wonderful). I’ve been to the Burlington location a few times and every time I go, I say I’m not going back there. But this time was the absolute worst. Megan, who claims to be a General Manager, is so completely rude. She is definitely in the wrong business. I worked at a coffee stand for 8 years and I can’t even imagine treating customers the way she does. When they didn’t make my drink correctly (the way I ordered it) she argued with me at the window for 5 minutes. I finally just told her to make my drink the correct way or give me a refund. She argued about that too. Not just arguing, but laughing. I had a $9 free drink coupon that I also used when I purchased my 2 drinks that was NOT refunded to me when I was given a refund. She was sloppy and dirty looking and stood at the window arguing with me with her hands wrapped up in her dirty shirt. Customer Service is NOT the job for you. I recommend the owners doing a review of the staff customer service and cleanliness. You are losing business because you have a GM that doesn’t know how to treat people. I will continue to give my business to the Fort Madison location.

The only great thing about this place is the convenience and speed. I’ve been here twice and both times I would order something and say “one small caramel latte please” Immediately they said “extra shot?!” “No thank you” “Large!?” “No, small please”. I found this really rude like they weren’t listening to me although they are probably trained to be aggressive and up the sale. Also, if you didn’t know much about coffee, just saying “extra shot?!” might confuse some people. The drink was super sugary and I could barely taste the coffee. I guess some people like that, but I think it kinda defeats the purpose of getting a coffee. Will not come here again.

Usually love their smoothies, but when I went and ordered 6 smoothies for my family, I was told that if I didn’t call ahead next time, they wouldn’t take my order. I feel like this is horrible customer service, and decided to take my business to Lost Bear instead. The lady there was so kind, and was thankful for our business. Even gave me a punch card. They’ll be getting our business from now on.

I came in tonight and there was a small thing wrong with my order, Carly and who ever else was working tonight apologized for it and made it right immediately. It was some A+ costumer service. They were very polite, professional, and I’ve been to other coffee shops in town and they just don’t provide the friendliness that Scooters does. I’ll make sure to come again.

I’ve only been here once. Got the suggested Trademark Drink. It was too sweet for me and not enough caffeine. It was a little thick. Ended up not finishing it. And I need my coffee to survive. Next time I would order a plain espresso to see if the coffee holds up the sweet

Good selection. Never had any issues. Love their cinnamon rolls. Make sure to download the rewards app. I like that you can earn points without having to reload the card like Starbucks.
