Behind the stately Mediterranean-styled villa, a traditional Italian family carries on the legendary dishes of Arturo Gismondi. My in-laws recently had a party here for about 30 people and every single aspect of it was perfect! The owner ensured that every detail was tended to from the decor, to the food, the service and the piano player they requested. The menu was personalized with plenty of options and everything was delicious! The servers were the utmost professionals. I have been raving about the party ever since and can’t wait to return for dinner the next time we are in the area.

This is a very nice authentic Italian restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service superp. The plates were a perfect amount and so fresh tasting. The employees are Italian so you feel as if you were in Italy. They have organic ingredients and homemade pasta you can see hanging in their window. I highly recommend it for a date or a family event. Either way, you will be pleased! Enjoy!

Food is exceptional, service is terrible. It was my first time going and from the very beginning, I was not greeted very nicely when I walked in for a table. I think they appreciate reservations versus walk-ins. The first thing they asked was if I had reservations and when I said no, they said to hold on and walked away to get someone else. Luckily, they had open tables and we sat down for a wonderful meal. Yes, definitely agree that this is an old school, romantic Italian restaurant! The food is fantastic and arrived very fast! Unfortunately, I was really disappointed in the service we received. After our food arrived, we never saw our waiter again. He got very busy and forgot about us. We asked the young bus boy if we could order a banana foster and he said he would have to check with the server if he isn’t busy. We waited 15 minutes, and started getting anxious because we had somewhere to be and the waiter still had not come by to make the banana foster. We then flagged the boy down again and told him to forget it and asked for the check. He offered an alternate dessert, but we explained that we would not have enough time. He said he will tell the waiter to get the check. We kept checking our phones and 20 minutes went by and still NO CHECK. We asked the boy again if there is anyone else who can give us our check, because we are late. Some other woman came by and printed the check out for us. There was no apologies and we never saw our waiter the entire night. Not only did we get poor service, we didn’t get the banana foster, and we were late for our event.

This was my first time at this restaurant for a family celebration. I was not impressed with one of the staff members who was an elderly gentleman who was very clumsy and abrupt. The food was very good overall except for when ordering filet mignon, the cooks had a very difficult time getting the right level of tenderness. Two of my family members had to return their fillet mignon because it was either too rare or too well done. Another family member had to return their Snapper fish because it really smelt fishy. The salad was drenched with dressing. They could do better considering it’s supposed to be a very upscale restaurant. I liked the fact that the pasta and bread was homemade. Use caution on what you order.

So I have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade, and Lou might be the best bartender I’ve ever seen. Not only did he serve us amazingly at the bar, but he took care of all the servers needs as well. He even made change for one with a smile on a busy Saturday night. Which I don’t think I’ve ever done. The Scottish salmon with the mustard was amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo made in house might be the top 3 I’ve ever had. And the chocolate cassata cake was an amazing ending to the dinner. Thanks Arturos! And thank you Lou! Looking forward to coming back!
