Pierre’s. Gorgeous food. Absolutely delicious to your taste buds – and you are going to pay for it so get out your wallet. But it is worth it. We spent more here than we expected – a lot more. But we totally INDULGED ourselves. It was out fault. But I’m still dreaming of the food.

Clubby loud main room with a more quiet room upstairs. This place is mediocre at best and insanely overpriced. I don’t mind spending a lot for a great meal but everything here was just bad. Starting with the $25 cocktails that tasted bad, a sad excuse for a tomato salad that if I’m generous container a quarter of tomato, and my strip steak that was burnt to crunches. We tried to save the day with an apple pie, but alas it was mediocre.

My 14 year old daughter took me here for my birthday, and I was impressed. The food, the services and atmosphere was immaculate. I had such a good time and the food was delicious. It was worth every penny that she spent!

The owner of Pierre was incredibly rude and disrespectful to our family. Our steak was undercooked & after I asked where the steak was after 15 minutes of waiting, he said they were cooking a new steak from scratch when in fact it was the same steak. I mentioned this to him & he said I’m not running a CHARITY & wouldn’t event remove the $6 bread basket charge from the menu. I have never seen such a disrespectful act. The waitress was very sweet and she tried her best to handle and was awesome. But after all this, the owner chased us as we left the restaurant yelling at us

I’ll preface this review by mentioning that after not receiving a reply to my second email, I mentioned writing this review and the management maturely responded with “I’m so scared!”

I was in a party of 4 with Michael Grae (review posted below). My dearest friend was the one with covid that had to cancel our reservation. While sick on the verge of hospitalization, she took the time to have her Doctor send a letter to Pierre himself on his major medical institution’s letterhead and Pierre still has not refunded the money even after claiming below that he would do so as soon as he received the doctors letter. His cancellation policy which I encourage you all to ask for states that he will refund the $200 he stole if he received the doctors note regarding covid. This is obviously a man with no scruples or morals who needs to grift $200 to keep his business afloat. Judging by his responses to other poor reviews, his character as a human is self evident.

This was by far the most disappointing dining experience that I have had in recent memory and we eat out 4-5 days a week. We made a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch and showed up 20 minutes early. We were seated by the hostess outside at a sunny two-top table. My wife was thrilled to be seated at a sunny table as there was a brisk breeze. We ordered something to drink and then it all went downhill. The owner Pierre came over 10 minutes later to demand that we give up our table because he needed it to combine it with another table for a party that had yet to arrive. When we said that the replacement table was not in the sun and that it was essentially in the doorway of the restaurant, he grabbed our menus and hovered over us. We felt his aggression and disdain for us and decided it was best that we find another place to celebrate Mother’s Day, rather than let this ruin our day. He could have approached us with kindness and asked us pleasantly, with perhaps an offer of a drink to show his regret that he was inconveniencing us, and perhaps provide us a couple of alternate seating choices. But no not Pierre, because he acts as if he is doing you a favor to let you dine there. We were directed to sit in the shade by the doorway- that’s it. We informed him that we that this would not suit us and that we have decided it was best that we dined elsewhere. I had initially decided to let the matter go so as to not ruin the day, but then I received a text that my card had been charged a $100 “no show” fee. That just added insult to injury and confirmed to me that it would be unfair to future prospective diners if I did not share this horrible experience. This is by far one of the rudest and most arrogant persons I have come across in some time- and to think he is in hospitality. Frankly, my radar should have gone up about Pierre when I saw him being rude and dismissive to his staff when I checked in to be seated. Well, at least there is consistency.

Been to Pierre’s 3 times. The first time the kitchen was technically closed so we said we were fine having some wine while we waited yet lo and behold the server comes out saying no no, the chef said he can open early (it was 3 pm) and w head an amazing lunch. Second time we ordered the fettuccine and the mussels and they were on point! 3rd time was spectacular, the server was great, communicative and the food was fantastic. We came just because of the negative reviews bc we don’t trust most reviews where it’s a personal issue like taking a table that wasn’t yours as you arrived early on the busiest day of the year for restaurants (mother’s day) or getting mad that the check you received wasn’t yours and expecting a full refund bc of it. Welcome to the Hamptons where staff is seasonal and the food may take longer than you’d expect. Sometimes the customer isn’t right and they need to be checked rather than expect Pierre’s to offer a full refund. Everyone is struggling, busy nights like weekends and holidays shouldn’t give anyone the right to judge a place and warn others not to frequent bc every time we have gone (we are private chefs) we have had nothing but great food. Sure, cocktails are expensive, don’t like it? Go have dinner in Oklahoma. This is the Hamptons, Bridgehampton mind you, so expect to pay top dollar for not so good service, most of these places aren’t even open year round so I’m here giving our honest review saying go to Pierre’s, get the mussels, the ratatouille, the fries (so good) , the Caesar, the bread (which is bought, not made in house hence the $8 charge), the mashed, the croque madame, legit everything is good, dont let pretentious rich “bow down to me” losers steer you away from something good. Cheers!

I recently had a reservation for a party of 4 at Pierre’s. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to someone in my party testing positive for covid. Due to the fact that we were all near this person the days prior, we decided it was best to cancel the reservation in an effort to not expose the restaurant staff and other guests.

The food is fine. The place is TOO loud. There is music that you can’t really hear and everyone has to scream over the music to talk.
