The Brews
The Redneck Riviera Brewing Project (RRBP) Grew Out Of A Love For Handcrafted Beers, The Creative Process Of Brewing Those Beers, And The Joy Of Sharing Those Beers With Friends
RRBP was started by two friends, Tim Roberts and Tim Moore, following a life-changing trip to Sierra Nevadas annual Beer Camp. Upon their return, Goat Lips hosted a release party for the beer they created while at Sierra Nevada, “Raiders of the Last Hops.” The turn out for this event was so great that conversations with Larry (The Head Goat) about adding a brewing operation to Goat Lips.
3 Years Later, Their Dream Came A Reality
A lot of lessons were learned along the way and we picked up some much needed help in the form of our Co-Brewmaster, Brock Whitfield, but we area now moving for steam ahead, brewing beers we love to drink and share with all of our friends that walk through the doors at Goat Lips!
Not Quite An IPA And Not Quite A Red Ale, The #58 Is In A Genre All Its Own
The recipe for this beer originated from Head Brewer Tim Robert’s trip to Sierra Nevada Beer Camp, where he dreamed up the brew’s complex malt bill and outrageous late-addition hop schedule. This malty, bitter, floral brew is not for the faint of heart!
This Rich, Malty Amber Ale Is Anything But Boring! Hints Of Caramel, Toasted Nuts, And Biscuity Malt Are In Perfect Balance With The Fresh, Crisp, Hoppy Finish
Find out why this brew is as sought after as the Golden Fleece!
We Here At RRBP Think That Sweet Potatoes Are A Vastly Underused Tuber
We love sweet potato casseroles, sweet potato fries… but why isn’t there a sweet potato beer? Naturally, we had to intervene. We start with a rich, malty amber ale and then add 42 pounds of sweet potatoes, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. It’s about as close as you can get to having sweet potato pie in a glass!
Our Sea Oat Pale Ale Combines The Floral, Citrusy Flavors Of American Hops With The Smooth Creamy Mouthfeel Of Oatmeal
The added body gives a new dimension to the hop flavor, and a unique twist to the pale ale style.
The Crescent City Has Brought Us Some Great Things
Zydeco, beignets, and Cajun food to name a few- so we wanted to pay tribute with a beer as smooth and exotic as the Big Easy itself. We’ve loaded it with coffee and chicory straight from New Orleans, and added cold-steeped chocolate malt and roasted barley to give it its pitch black color. It’s a tip of our hat to the Mardi Gras City. Beignets not included.
The Shovelbum Ale Is Our Twist On A Traditional Cream Ale
This beer was handcrafted with hot Florida summers in mind and in honor of the numerous Archaeologists (Shovel Bums) that hang out at Goat Lips- it’s as light, crisp, and sessionable as an lager, but bursting with citrusy American hop flavor. It’s a favorite of craft beer newbies and connoisseurs alike.

A great and fun place. Heard so much about it but it’s on the opposite side of town so we hadn’t been there. Yesterday was the day! We finally were in the area and we’re so glad we stopped. Fantastic beer selection, rustic and fun atmosphere and super staff. We had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with The Goat (owner). Great guy to talk with. They have music 7 nites a week. There’s indoor bar, several different rooms and outside tables and fun. Great . If I had an improvement suggestion it would be to do something with the dirt (stone or pavers?) in the outside area. It’s pretty dusty. We loved the place and will be stopping by whenever we’re on that side of town.

With a place called Goat Lips how could you go wrong? What an enchanting gem of a dive bar! The eclectic decorations [to include 3 stooges collection], signed posters from the blue angels and extensive menu and delightful staff ~ I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Bravo!! Southern hospitality at it’s finest! We also had the pleasure of meeting & visiting with the “Head Goat” [Larry] who gave us a tour of the outside seating, 2 separate musical stages, and told us the history of the establishment as well as his plans for expansion & future vision for the place. This place is amazing!

I had to give them five stars for the service. Our server was awesome and so was the owner. Little hole in the wall place. Mainly bar type food. It was actually pretty good. We don’t drink so it was nice that they had a separate area away from the bar. The price was reasonable too.

Who in the world can pass up the chance to eat at a place with that name? I’m glad I did. Finding it was a little hard at first, it’s in an industrial area and I passed by it the first time. The outside looks a little sketch but don’t let that stop you from going in. You grab a menu from the front counter and seat yourself. There is also a huge covered patio in the back if you choose to sit there. I can only describe the atmosphere as rustic and eclectic, with album covers on the walls. I decided on the Caribbean jerk chicken sandwich and it was extremely delicious. It also had ham, melted cheese, lettuce and tomato and a chipotle mayo. To die for delicious! I had chips on the side. My friend had the Italian sub and it came as 2 mini sandwiches, she really enjoyed it. I had a side of chips with my sandwich. I also had a glass (or 2) of Chardonnay. They also have live entertainment in the evenings, karaoke and all kinds of cool things. I will definitely be back, it was fun. And the service was outstanding Forgot to mention they also have an on-site brewery. Sorry, I got caught up with the food.

Total hole in the wall beer joint and restaurant. Beer and wine only, no cocktails. Excellent selection of beer on tap and bottled and very knowledgeable bartender (Kyle). Owner is active and around, and cool to talk to. We did not dine, just stopped in for a couple of beers.

An outstanding oasis of friendship, good food and great brews. Myself and my boys were greeted warmly and treated like royalty throughout our visit. The food was made to order and was delicious. The slate of brews represented an impressive range, and all were excellent. They have non-house brews as well, but I didn’t dip into that menu, given a plethora of great house brew options. Just an outstanding experience, all around.

Talk about the hidden gem..off the beaten path of Pensacola!! This place was awesome and we only went for lunch! The staff was great, food was phenomenal, and atmosphere was euphoric. I can’t wait to go back in the evening and enjoy this place to the fullest. I believe we saw the owner walking around and giving a tour to some customers. He also made sure we had a good time when we walked out. It’s the little attention that made a big difference. There is so much sitting inside and outside…love the A/C band area. Hardest part was figuring out what to eat…highly recommend everyone to stop by at least once because u will make it your favorite spot!! I’ll update this post when I really see it in action!! Thank you Goat lips for another great place to eat in Pensacola!
