Our quest to find a great pizza in Charleston is over! Very good dough and delicious toppings, friendly service.

So delicious! This is not your usual pizza joint, they make the most unusual combinations of flavors that no one else dares to do and you will be happy you tried it. If you really want, you can “make your own” but trust them, at least once.

This has the potential to be good, and they were super busy. But their oven is far too hot. Which is causing the crust to burn and the toppings not getting adequate time to cook. I saw the couple nexts to me’s pizza lose all the toppings as there wasn’t enough cheese to hold it all together and the crust gets kind of mushy towards the center and flops it all off, the undercarriage needs work. Maybe less sauce would prevent it from being so floppy. I’d expect that oven to be over 950f. Drop the oven temp, get a good flame across the top, and it will fix this issue. I’ve used similar ovens, and they are hard to control, but you shouldn’t be serving heavily burnt pizzas. The sauce tasted good, and the basil was good. Along with the cheese, it just needs some work to not burnthe crust a lil char is nice but not burnt.

Rustic Italian style pizza. It wasn’t bad, but I was a little disappointed. The crust was a little more charred than I like, and was kind of tough and chewy. Overall the pizza was just kind of mediocre, but not awful by any means. The pepperoni and onion on Margherita combo didn’t really work, but that was on me for ordering it. I saw other pictures of pepperoni and cheese pies that looked better than the one I got, so I’m not sure what I needed to order to get those.

We came for red sauce week but frankly didn’t see many traditional Italian dishes. So we went with Caeser salad and pizzas which were both excellent. They had special cocktails and I really enjoyed the Bada Bing! The service was excellent and the restaurant has a really fun vibe. Can’t wait to come back.

There’s definitely better pizza around, but the atmosphere is fun and gets better later. Drinks can be pricey. Still had a neighborhood feel to it.

Went to visit my daughter in Charleston before she moved on to finish school. She is very familiar with the area and she heard the Renzo’s had great food! Well I said OK let go!! It was a great dining in experience even though it was very busy. The salad and the pizza we had were so delicious!! Had some wine and all went very well. I would definitely return and recommend if you are in the area. Love the Reel to Reel! Brought back some memories!!

I freakin love renzo. After being their neighbor directly across the street from them, I can say that not only is their food fantastic, but they are damn good neighbors and care for this area a lot. Their food is so good – I absolutely love their caesar, and their pizzas (honestly whatever your flavor – they’re all good) and some grandma sauce is on point with a great gastronomical experience. They’re solid, their chill, and they care about their food and the place they have their business in.

I’d say it’s alright. Pizza was a little burnt on the crust and soggy in the middle. However, the ricotta gnudi was delicious, and I enjoyed the Caesar salad as well. I came in a group with 6 others with a reservation, and we weren’t seated for 40 mins, but they did cover our first round of drinks as a result. Then they told us we could only order 3 pizzas and that they were out of the only gluten-free chicken dish option because of a broken appliance. They ended up being able to make us 5 pizzas AND the GF dish, but it’s weird they told us they couldn’t upfront, and then still did… anyway, I probably wouldn’t go back.
