We visited for dinner and loved the atmosphere at Bruxelles Brasserie! I really appreciate that they change their menu daily to reflect what’s currently in season and to provide fresh food. Some menu items that stood out were the lobster bucatini and potato leek soup. In our opinion, the duck was a little tough and the scallops could’ve been seared a bit longer. The service was good and the food came out quickly!

I have visited Bruxelles Brasserie three times now for date-night dinners. Each time I have been just as pleased (if not more so) than the previous visit. Their menu has seemed to rotate with the seasons, but I will say that the standout items have consistently been 1. their drinks and 2. their burrata. Meat preparation is also consistently great, although some dishes have been better than others.

We went for a birthday brunch celebration with my sister. We did make a reservation and they sat us promptly. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes to get any type of sevices( water, drinks )another 30 minutes for a waiter to take our orders. The food was mediocre at best. The only thing that was good was the Belgian Waffle. The food was a little pricey for a brunch. To conclude the device sucks; I will not be back.

Overall great experience. Escargot was excellent, but the salad with it was too acidic and salty and didn’t pair well. Steak frites were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. The real star of the show tonight was the branzino fillet, a must try. The chocolate torte was good. Drinks were okay, a little lackluster in my opinion. We watched a bartender put his hand in a drink/the ice which was not cool. Make a reservation ahead of time if you don’t wanna sit at the bar

The pictures don’t do the food any justice! 1st time there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The layers of flavor was amazing. We had the Tuna tartar and the escargot for an appetizer. Whoa that set the bar high for dinner. I had the roasted chicken and my husband the Beef Bourguignon (beef stew) oh my the flavors! We were stuffed but noticed.they had crème brulee which we can never pass up. I can honestly say I have never had crème brulee that good. never!

This is one of those places where the food is good but the service is bad. The first time we went, service was slow and we had to request plates and cutlery for our tables, cups for our toddler, and some issues with the server. It wasn’t bad and the food was good. The second time we went, outdoor and indoor seating was empty but they wouldn’t allow us to dine outdoors. We have 2 young kids and Covid safety is important to us. It’s a hit or miss with this place. The issue I find with most of the restaurants that close down within the year is how they treat their customers. If the restaurant is empty, why aren’t you serving food to your guests in your outdoor area when all the tables and chairs are setup? We’ve considered bringing people but don’t want to deal with being turned down for no reason so we go to cafe social and nearby restaurants who always let people sit indoors or outdoors.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Norwalk, hands down. The food is amazing, the wine is great, and the seafood is fresh. The roasted chicken is by far the best dish ever! Just the combination of purée, pearl onions, and gravy is amazing! The oysters and shrimp I had were fresh. The shrimp were cleaned well and all seafood was nicely chilled. The apple strudel is sooooo good. Especially if you add vanilla ice cream. Please do yourself a favor and save room for it.

We were there over 2 hours and it was not busy so keep that in mind. But, it was delicious. The El Diablo was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had and comparing it to any spicy margarita, hands down the best. Especially because it was super spicy, usually don’t get that level of heat.

What an absolute gem. The brunch is world class, get the croissant / omelette. The happy hour oysters, shrimp, and clams are served with a perfect shuck. The decor and food can’t be beat. This place may be the best food in sono.

By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the area! The food was amazing! Definitely would recommend the escargot and the Elk dish! I am a foodie and love to try new cuisines and this place did not disappoint at all! Staff was so kind and professional will 100% be going back! Also definitely get a reservation to be safe the place fills up quickly!
