At our Arnold, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Most the food was good but the pickle chips were over cooked, tiny, and the portion was ridiculously small… the side of fries was also too small for how much we were charged for the meal… dine in was closed at 7pm? Maybe understaffed? I don’t know a lot about technology but when this occurs maybe have your website set to not allow in restaurant pickup. We startled the young employee when we entered through an unlocked door unknowing that the lobby was closed… she was nice and gave us free drinks though… just feel shorted on the portions and quality of those pickle chips and fries!! Prices are high overall here. Won’t be back anytime soon…

Captain D’s stands as a personal favorite in the realm of fast food. Their battered fish, served with a side of hush puppies, slaw, and fries, never fails to arrive hot and delicious, maintaining the quality that has come to be expected. The meals, besides being flavorful, also prove to be reasonable in terms of pricing. I would visit more often but many times when I visit the STL locations for dinner, the dining rooms are closed. Today’s visit for dinner in Arnold went well with the dining room being open and the employees being very friendly and helpful.

Great service. The food is good, but the quality had declined a bit. This is not any reflection on this location. The fish planks are small now and super bread. Listen up, corporate! Quick cutting corners. Red Lobster special deals are cheaper than your full meals.

This place is disgusting. Mold and rusted vents that leak on you as you eat. Every table was dirty yet it wasn’t busy and had 5 people working. They was only serving the drive thru than the customers inside. The place reeks of mold. Paint falling off the walls and so on.

I ate lobster bisque. It’s $3.98 for a small bowl. I’m not so sure if they put lobster meat in it, but they do put some fish. It’s tasty. I definitely will go get it again. Michael was nice. I feel welcome when I have to bring my son & his friend who wants to eat Rally here.

in description it says it comes with 2 pieces of fish, mine came with a half piece of fish in chunks like it was scraps they put together, I have more bread than fish, at other Ds I get 2 whole pieces of fish

Worst Captain D’s we’ve ever been to. You’ve only got 2 employees working on a Friday night, insane wait time. The dining room was filthy , no tea or Dr. Pepper. Corporate should really keep tabs on this location, will never be back.
