It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Monte was so dry and seemed to be faking her interaction at the drive-thru window. She clearly seems uncomfortable dealing with customers. We decided to go here because it wasn’t busy, and my husband lived in Texas for a while and liked this place. We waited for our food, so I thought it’s gonna be fresh and hot. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal and added bacon, and my husband purchased the southern bacon burger meal. We got our food and pulled off! I’m passing out the food, and we’re on the interstate by now heading home to North Little Rock. I didn’t have bacon on my spicy chicken sandwich, and it was room temp!!!!!! How hard is it to follow orders??!! The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so we sat and waited for cold food and the wrong order?!! As my husband is eating, he realizes that his sandwich is wrong, but at this point, it’s obviously too late to do anything. Why isn’t there a bacon add-on sticker for sandwiches so simple minds don’t get confused?!! Let’s get to the fries. Are you guys trying to give out high blood pressure?!! Usually, we can just wipe the excess salt off of fries when they’re over salted, but the grains are so small that it’s impossible! It isn’t just this location. This was me giving Whataburger a second shot. The first time this happened was in Texas. I thought well maybe it was just that particular location and time. I was so wrong!!!! I called the restaurant to tell Monte what happened, and she could care less becausewe’regone already. I will never eat this mess again! I wanted Wendy’s next door to yall, and next time, that’s what I’ll get!!!

This is an employee at Whataburger, for anyone wanting to know. Every night we are understaffed and have to rush orders. I work night shifts, we are the literally skeleton crew, we have like five to six people, there are two food lanes but we only have one open due to being understaffed at the time. Alot of you are right when you say that the food is not the best but we are trying our best!, The dinning room is a better way to get your food sometimes, we’ll try to get better as soon as we possibly can.

Talk about starting off right! My visit to Whataburger was absolutely excellent. Not only was my jalapeño burger meal cooked just right but because the shake machine had just gone down and I had ordered a shake, the manager with the extra mile. Noah not only gave me a free meal, but he also gave me an apple pie for my trouble. He said the next time I come by for a shake he suggests to ask for him, and could make a special off the menu shake for me. He was very professional and just really wanted to make sure that I enjoyed my meal and my night. That’s exactly the kind of service you want from a new fast food restaurant in your town. I was very impressed with Noah, speedy and friendly service of his restaurant, and his desire to go the extra mile to make sure that I left happy. I will definitely be back.

If you are craving that great Whataburger you tasted while in Texas….best drive to Texas, because it is not to be found here. Had their burger on 8/29/23 in their dine in area along with about a 100 pesky house flies. Never eating here again

The slowest service of any fast food operation in the country. I stop by for breakfast, cars were lined up side by side and 4 rows deep, after 10 minutes of no cars moving, I and others waiting in line, said screw this and went to another fast food place.

EDIT 2: Giving them one more week was just what they needed, going into the lobby did give a better experience along with, I believe, one of the female managers. Their energy made for a better experience along with everything being hot and fresh along with plenty of spicey ketchup, definitely getting better.

Visiting Bentonville and saw Whataburger was here. Very glad we choose to visit. It was lunch time, so it was crowded. BUT – the line moved fast and the food came out quickly. The staff was very courteous and helpful. That alone would earn five stars from me.

Second review from 7/30/23. Okay we decided to give this location another try. I can’t believe it but i believe it got worse. 20 minute wait for drive thru.Fries were hot but oh my gosh, so much salt! Burger was so dry, meat over cooked, it was so hard to swallow & too salty also. I also ordered my burger with no lettuce & they gave me a side container with lettuce leafs, hope i wasn’t charged extra for this. Now on to the soda, i asked for light ice & my drink was 3/4 full of ice! When is that light ice!. If i want Whataburger I guess I’ll head down to Texas where they know how to make their food. If the owner of this store doesn’t get things turned around, it will go out of business.

Not good! Not busy on a Sunday morning around 11am and it took way too long to get my order! Fries were so cold and only one ketchup with my order! Happily taking my business across the street to Five Guys and not going back to Whataburger!
