Chef Rikki has things completely dialed in. The green garlic bread was insane. The hand made pasta was outstanding and the pork ribs were unmatched. What a lovely evening in Saint Paul on Grand Avenue. Amazing spot!

We were there yesterday. It was 96 outside, and my only complaint about this amazing restaurant was that seated by the kitchen it felt like it was in the 80s. But we would go through that again for the amazing meal. I attached a pic of the chix parm. Wow. My socks were knocked ALL the way off.

Small but classy place. I loved the food. The tastes of everything from appetizers to dessert were very well balanced and leveraged different ingredients like yoghurt and tahini. I am from Mediterranean region and I would recommend this place who would like to taste nice flavors from the mix of Mediterranean countries and cuisines. We were group of four and tried different dishes and shared everything. 5 appetizers, 2 main dish, 2 desserts and 3 alcoholic drinks per person, we paid around 100 usd/person.

This place blew me out of the water! Two of us shared the chicken liver crostini, he got the carbonara and I got the mushroom risotto. We shared the chocolate dessert. Everything was absolutely delightful! My husband got a cocktail with mezcal and it was perfectly balanced. Our server was a delight- attentive and friendly! We ended up striking up a conversation with the women at table next to us, which contributed to our amazing experience! We absolutely can’t wait to go back!

we dined at Hyacinth and were glad to try something new! cute atmosphere, however the service was odd – we waited at the front for about 20 minutes after our scheduled reservation time before a host came to greet us, despite standing in sight of the bar and kitchen. Drinks leaned a bit medicinal and the wine was overpriced. food was fine – the lettuce salad was exceptional! – but the pasta felt overpriced for the quality. staff were kind and friendly, and at the same time, we did not get our entrees until around 9:45PM on an 8:30 reservation. good for drink sales as we definitely grabbed an extra glass of wine while we waited! still, a cozy spot on grand and may be worth a stop if you’re looking to shake things up in St. Paul (and don’t mind a long dinner!). if you like quirky and super laid back, this might be the spot for you.

This is a very cute bistro style restaurant. We made reservations last minute and were able to do an early dinner. Service was attentive without hovering—we each had a pasta and shared the snap pea and burrata salad. The salad was amazing, really light yet well seasoned. The pastas were both good—very much a homemade feel. They were good but not great, but I’d like to return and try out some of their entrees. Considering the tip is factored into the prices, the prices are pretty fair here. Finally, I should mention the decor is wonderful, really simple but cute. Would definitely visit again!
