That squid ink tagliatelle was the best pasta I’ve tasted since moving to Florida 3 years ago. It was absolutely delicious. And their focaccia with pesto was also amazing. My friend had the oxtail pasta and he enjoyed that too. We even tried their whipped bone marrow. Didn’t too much care for the turnips but overall this restaurant is amazing and I’d definitely be back

I had the privilege of dining in one evening about a week ago after a photo shoot for the managers on our amazing team so our owners wanted to gift us with a management appreciation dinner and we got to sit in the private room. When I tell you that this restaurant is amazing, that wouldn’t be doing it justice; this little piece of heaven was out of this world. From the moment we walked thru the door to the VIP treatment to the delightful starters and the mind blowing entrees, and to the sensational desserts, we were blown away! And the service was TOP NOTCH; friendly, attentive & extremely knowledgeable!

Everything was delicious. FYI Prices are on the higher end. We started off with the mussels which were amazing. The lamb nduja was a great touch. My gf couldn’t have lamb so we asked for it separately. So I thoroughly enjoyed it with the toast. The seafood black squid ink tagliatelle was amazing. I got a side of the dry aged meatballs which were nice as well. My gf enjoyed her dish as well.

Amazing experience! Me and my husband drove from Tampa to explore some St.Petersburg’s restaurants and we were not disappointed. Delicious food, especially short rib mezzaluna, and beef tartare. We didn’t like whipped bone marrow appetizer. Quail was okay. Desserts were on point- ricotta zeppoles and gelato creme fraiche. Service was outstanding- bartender Chandler did such a good job! We will come back!

One of the best restaurants in downtown St. Pete. The atmosphere is nice, not as loud as some places but still lively, the service is outstanding… always the perfect blend of attentive yet subtle, table is always spotless, drinks full, and food coursed perfectly. I’ve never felt rushed, we always feel welcome to thoroughly enjoy our food and wine without feeling guilty for being at the table for too long. The food is exquisite, imaginative. We always order the signature dish but everything else is just as delicious. Il Ritorno should be on all visitors’ lists and locals should add this to their regular rotation of date night and celebration restaurants! It has become one of my favorites!!

Wow this place was delicious; Recommended by multiple friends so had to finally go check it out. Intimate seating with beautiful aromas the second you walk in the door. Service desk is quick to address you and get some drinks going so you don’t stay thirsty long. We got a bottle of red wine that was a tasty blend and well recommended by the server. Tried the short rib pasta (best seller) and the Brussel sprouts, and needless to say both were incredible. I’d like to go back and try something different but it would be hard not to get the short rib again hahaha. They also started us off with a tasty bread to pair with the wine while we waited for the food. This is a lovely place to take a date and has all the looks and feels of authentic Italian.

Two doors down from St Pete Meat and Provisions. An Italian menu with culinary twists. Not a spaghetti and lasagna type of Italian restaurant. Well laid out and nice atmosphere and great service. The pasta was fresh and the presentation of all the dishes we had/saw was spectacular. We would definitely return. Pass on the bread that is offered and save room for the food to come.

Heck of an experience.. prices are high but the execution on food and cocktails is stellar. Chef owns the butcher shop next door and gets a lot of high quality, unique cuts and ingredients to work into a lengthy menu. Hand made pasta, excellent seafood and steak that is to die for. That said, too expensive for regular visits and service was good but not up to the price point.
