Cool and relaxing after a hot afternoon in the park. The custard is creamy, smooth and delicious. It really cools you from inside out when you let it do it’s job.

Got home to see this is what they gave me for curds. Barely half a serving and not to mention overdone. They were also out of sweet tea and ice. Would’ve gotten dinner elsewhere if I knew this was what I was walking into.

I really like the selection and the food is very tasty. This location seemed to be missing the cleanliness other Culver’s have. The tables, the soft drink area were sticky and my shoes literally sticking to the floor. I brought it to the young guys attention at the counter sadly he just went on with life.

Been waiting in dining room 45 minutes no food yet. There are 12 tables with numbers in dining room with no food. The inside dining should be closed, they aren’t even telling new orders that it’s at least a 45 minute wait. Courtesy would be great. I understand they are short on help but this is not being run properly.

When I travel, these reviews are helpful when it comes to finding a good restaurant in a new town. I rarely look for a review for a fast-food joint, though. I expect them to be average places selling food that’s mostly edible. To me, Culvers has always been above average, a special treat in a sea of fast-food joints that advertise “low prices” rather than high-quality food. Unfortunately, something bad is happening to this particular location, which I have enjoyed for years. No doubt there’s a long list of excuses for why it would start slipping, from inflation to “can’t find help.” But now there are long waits for poor-quality food. Staff that seem like they’d rather be home staring at their phone. Cold fries, premium-priced, limited time “pub burgers” that look like they’ve spent way too much time at a dive bar. I wish I would have taken a photo of the sorry thing I bought yesterday. I also wish I would have thrown it away after taking a photo. Cold, compressed, tiny, and with an odd bun aftertaste that lingered for hours. I don’t think I will return. I hope all Culver’s locations are not like this one.

Good food, atmosphere was fine, but service was super slow. Everyone had to wait so long to order. We waited almost 15 to order with kids in tow. But it didn’t take too long for our dine in food order to arrive.

Waited about 20 minutes for a 1 meal drive though order. Did not get all of the condiments I asked and paid extra for. Sandwich was folded in half and it looked disgusting. A little bit of wilted lettuce, the butt end of a tomato and looked like it was dropped on the floor. Cook either didn’t care at all or intentionally made it like this because of my condiment request. I should have a took a picture.

We love Culvers and always opt to stop at Culvers especially on a road trip. We stopped at this Culvers in Fort Atkinson yesterday as we were traveling through and decided to order inside since the line in the drive thru was so long. We were there for 15 minutes and never got our food. The manager and cooks were fighting and also fighting with customers both in the restaurant and the drive thru. All the food orders were wrong and the customers from the drive thru were coming in saying that after 30 minutes they are still waiting for their orders. While we were there, the cooks and most of the employees walked off…..literally…they left the building. They said they were out of fries and didn’t have enough food. No one ever explained to any of us customers waiting…we asked if we could just get our burgers and leave but no one could help us. There were about 4 young people still there who were trying but obviously had no manager helping them. I felt bad for those young people, what a bad example being set for them! We left after 15 minutes without our food and without our $22 an no one to help us. The employees were in their vehicles leaving at the same time and the drive thru line still wrapped around the building with no idea what was happening. I have never had a bad experience at a Culvers prior to this being the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had in any restaurant ever!

The staff are all great people with amazing personalities. But the wait time is unacceptable, always around 30 minutes. It would be faster to get Culver’s from Janesville. Janesville can get your entire order ready in under a minute even when it’s packed full. Fort Culver’s can’t. One time an employee couldn’t see my number on my side mirror, so they put it back in the store. Turns out they gave me the wrong number, and left my actual order to cool off on the counter. And lied saying “it just came out” when the box was cold to the touch.

The food is always good, the atmosphere is always what i think culvers to be. But the service, iev lived in Fort atkinson for 13 years and for 13 years the service at this location, regardless of time of day, weather, how busy, has always been consistently terrible. It is always hard to even place an order, heaven forbid you try to explain it through the microphone in the drivethru, and the wait on getting your food is ridiculusly long, iev sat and watched my order sit on the counter for 15 plus minutes while people sit on their phones, talk, do literally anything else. I dont like using words like “always” or really leaving bad reveiws, but when it’s my hometown and it is ALWAYS terrible, it feels worth it. I hope someone sees this and makes the change this location needs. Typically i just go somewhere else, it ducks your food is so good, but everytime i go there and pay what i pay for what i get it doesnt feel worth it, mcdonals, arbys, taco bell, dominos, kwiktrip, all have my back consistently and its cheper. Pay them more or find better/smarter workers, id love to frequent this place again.
