Ordered the a la carte bbq with onion rings, cornbread and two beers. The hostess didn’t greet us upon entering and didn’t bring us to our table. The waiter forgot our beers twice and didn’t bring it until we were halfway into eating. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. Free parking is available in the back.

Love this restaurant! Great food, generous portions and fun friendly staff. Eat in or take out clean restrooms and a casual welcoming atmosphere. Even live entertainment on Sundays. Great selection of beverages, outside dining area weather permitting. If you go try the California egg rolls. Delicious!

When we entered the Rivershed there was a crowd of people standing by the host desk reviewing the menu. No host was present and there was no sign indicating whether to wait to be seated or seat yourself. We found an open high top in the bar area and seated ourselves. We made eye contact with 2 waitstaff who immediately turned their back and continued their chat. After 10 minutes we were about to leave when a 3rd waiter finally came over. I ordered the ala carte brisket with mystery BBQ sauce. I say mystery because the waiter could not describe the BBQ sauces, obviously poor training. The brisket was not properly cut. It was broken into chunks, so of which were only fat, and placed on a piece of stale white bread. My wife ordered a wine, saw it sitting on the bar and after 5 minutes retrieved it herself because the waitstaff and bartender were no where to be seen. The restaurant itself has a dark, dingy feel. We also observed tables were not cleared for 20 plus minutes. Definitely will not be returning.

Walked in and were told to sit anywhere. Live music inside, which was nice but too loud to have a conversation so we sat outside. Sat at a table for 25min while wait staff walked by us taking orders at other tables and delivering food. Finally called over a waiter leaving the table beside us (2ft) and he said he didn’t see us there. We couldn’t help but laugh. Another 5-10 min and a waitress finally arrived and apologized, thankfully. We quickly ordered 3 meals (2 steak tips and 1 salmon) and 3 drinks. She returned later to say they were out of all 3 food items. Seriously?! Had one drink then left to order takeout somewhere else. Can’t give the food any stars because we never got it. I would avoid this place if you actually want to eat.

Ordered the chicken and waffles based off another review here. They arrived with no butter or syrup so I had to hunt down the waitress to get them. Once I finally did get a chance to eat they were amazing 10/10 would get them again. Place is very loud due to live music which wasn’t bad just not my thing so good luck having a decent conversation without losing your voice.

My girlfriend and I have come here once a month for the past 5-6 months and every time we just can’t believe how slow the service is. As I write this it is a Wednesday night at 8:00 with maybe 8-12 people in here and we just ordered our drinks and they took close to 20 mins to get to our table. Our appetizer even got here before the drinks and we ordered the drinks 5 mins before the appetizer. This is what happens every time we choose to eat here. It seems like the staff changes almost weekly and none of them really care too much about providing good service, which is a shame because this location has a ton of potential. Food is always good but I just get terrible service every time I show up. Hopefully they find some dedicated servers in the near future

I don’t hate it or love it. We seat outside where our dog could sit with us. The service was ok. The food taste fine but the size was a bit small. We got Portobello mushroom and the spicy . Both taste fine but the fries were so small in portion. We had to flag down the staff for our bill after waiting 15 mins for her to come out way. We also had to walk inside for a takeout box after asking for one. Overall, it was okay. We paid $40 for two meals

Used to be my favorite restaurant on the South Shore! Great cocktail list, BBQ my husband loved, and fast service. Unfortunately, over the past year, they ditched the 3 best vegetarian entrees on the menu (veggie tacos, cauliflower tacos, and the veggie burger), only replacing one — with an inferior portabello mushroom burger. Such a shame. The parking can be a pain in Weymouth Landing, and now it’s not worth the hassle.

Our server frequently checked on us to see if everything was ok. Brussel sprouts was very overcooked, but other than that the burger, tacos, and wings are pretty decent!

I have a shellfish allergy, and I let the server know ahead of ordering food. Before food came out the server came to us to let us know that there will be a cross contamination with fryer and grill and if that would it be okay. I let him know No and ask for check. I’m so disappointed, I work worked food service and kitchen before can’t believe that happen.
