The food was good but, we had ordered appetizers and we got them the same time as our meal. Obviously our waitress must have got sidetracked. I realize I don’t know all the facts but, for future customers, I’m sure they would also appreciate to get their appetizers in a time frame where they can enjoy that and then enjoy their meal. The food we did have was very tasty though.

Bartender was friendly and helpful. Food wasn’t bad, had the tacos. The steak taco was pretty good but really ruined by high school cafeteria style condiments. Still have not found a bar in this town that can make a mojito.

Stumbled across this place looking for a place to watch a Badger game coming back from St. Louis. Excellent food and great service. Unbelievable home made soups and the fish fry was great. My daughter had a burger that was huge and fresh ground beef. Son loved the chicken wings. Very affordable and a very nice salad and soup bar. We will definitely be stopping in again. Unfortunately the Badgers didn’t far well. 🙁

Love this place. Staff… Absolutely outstanding! Food is phenomenal for “pub”- bar food. Plus the vibe is legit with.. conversation and music via jutebox. If you’re here (comfort Inn) and don’t visit… You are missing out!

Very disappointed, was looking forward to a nice meal after a long day of travel. Reviews said it would be. Soup was cold, veggies were cold, prime rib was utterly flavorless, the wine was old and warm. The room was nice, but doing remodel so quite a mess and we paid a premium price.

I give 2 stars because the music was good…bartenders are rude but at the same time this is a locals bar which looks like everyone knows each other from high school. I ordered my drink which was $6 and the bartender said $8 to try and get a tip I said open a tab she ignored me for the rest of the night. That being said the other bartender was okay I asked for a double she said why don’t I finish my drink first. My total came to $18 I gave a tip of $22 cause everyone has to make a living then all of a sudden she was super nice.

Not good. Place was empty and menus really limited. I thought hubby n I were going on a nice date and there were only like 4 dinner options, which were very pricey. Menu is more that of a diners than a nice restaurant. Mudslide was icy rather than creamy. Won’t be back.

Sat in bar area. I think it was shift change bar tender looked at me and went straight to phone. Waitress that told me where to sit returned nearly five minutes later finally got a beer and a menu. Almost five more minutes and she returned for my order ordered a burger with blue cheese and bacon which I said was to be well done with bacon crispy. Burger was browned on outside inside very raw. When she brought my burger I had a 1/3 of a glass full but figured I’d better order while she was there. She grabbed my beer on the table then return same glass filled. So she topped it off. The only thing that was prompt was the check. Which no information as to where I paid so I went to the bar after finishing my fries leaving 90% of my burger only eating the bacon, blue cheese, and tomato. If I return I sure hope they we’re just having a bed day

My husband and I played their slots. There was no one playing slots we were the only ones there at the machines at 1am, just two friends of the bartender sitting at the bar chitchatting. After putting our reserved signs on the machines and tilting our chairs to use the restroom, we came back and both machines were completely cleaned out. We got robbed and the bartender said he saw a couple Hispanics by the machines but didn’t realize they were cleaning us out. After arguing with the owner who did not want to work with us at all at first,after putting over $100 into her machines she gave us $25 back. Rude owner, bartender not aware of what is going on in his own bar. Lesson learned, a reserve sign does not do anything.

The food was terrible. I ordered crab cakes… And the cakes had carrots and other vegs that are not normally in crab cakes. The crab itself was terrible… The shredded stuff you can buy out of a can in walmart for a buck or two and not the lump crab meat that makes the crab cake what it is… The chef obviously does not have a culinary degree and the help and waitstaff was terrible. I would not recommend this place at all. If your looking for a great place to eat avoid this place at all cost… Not to mention the bartenders are rude and double charge for drinks… Be careful when running a tab, as more charges will rack up/////pay with cash per drink. And yes on those wrestling events downstairs at the bar, prices jump compared to the bar upstairs.,,.be careful if your an out of towner….
