The concept began as a 17-foot food truck in 2014 and has grown tremendously over the years into several restaurant locations in Southern California and a location in American Fork, UT! Delicious food, atmosphere and service was impeccable!!! Best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The Civeche was fanominal! The Chile Verde was fantastic and enjoyed by several of our party! The churros and ice cream brought back memeories of homemade ice cream from childhood…We will definitely be visiting Sol Agave for many years to come.

I really wanted to like the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños but they were way too spicy, like unbearable. The flavors would have been good if it wasn’t so spicy. Otherwise the Grilled Salmon salad was perfectly sweet & refreshing with the watermelon & basil margarita.

Delicious food amazing service! We were here for our grandfather’s 90th birthday with a large group of people in the staff took care of us like we were family making our grandfathers birthday even that more special. There’s so many delicious options. I would recommend the Mar Y Tierra which are filet mignon field enchiladas with a cream sauce and two Mexican prawns. They have many delicious soups, the rack of lamb is one of the best in Orange County and if you just feel like some drinks, they have a flight of margaritas and the best chips and salsa around. All the tacos are great, but we like the taco Del Mar which are mahi-mahi. They do have vegetarian options and gluten-free and dairy free friendly.

Alfredo is a great waiter. The drinks were plentiful and tasty. Chips and salsa to start. Pork Belly appetizer and tried the famous carnitas entrée. 3 leches for dessert. I really enjoyed the music as well. I’ll be back for sure.

Had a family dinner at this restaurant in august 2023. We had eaten many times at the San Clemente location and always had good food so when someone suggested we try this location we said “sure”. Service and location were good – my wife and I both had the “fresh” mahi-mahi fish tacos. Well they were definitely not “fresh” fish – they were dry and tasteless. I’m sure they were frozen and heated up too quickly. I doubt I’ll ever go back to this location again and if I do I’ll definitely never have the fish tacos.

The Service was Excellent and the Margaritas was the best thing we had! The Food Flavors and Quality NOT GOOD! Salsa tasted like Marinara Sauce, Beans didn’t have Salt, Corn Tortillas were Cold not warmed Throughly, The Ceviche didn’t have any Flavor, Pork Belly and the Queso where just ok.

An absolute delight! Classic Mexican fare done right in a very classy setting. Very impressed by the decor and the ambience. Service was awesome too. Margaritas hit the right spot with the warm, crunchy tortilla chips , delicious salsas ,and bean dip. Every dish on our table was excellent. The Chile Verde was succulent and flavourful, the lamb chops with Mole sauce tender and juicy, the fish tacos, with the amazing salad on top, mouth watering just to look at and the steak bites on small mountains of rice were as beautiful as tasty. The plating of the food was artwork. The Chili Toredos….omg the hottest I have ever had, loved them.
