Madison was our wait staff tonight on our first visit here at Saltwater Kitchen. She was gracious and gave us the best service from recommendations to frequent checks to see if everything was good. Our drinks were kept refilled and everything was brought out promptly. From the Bang Bang Shrimp & Lobster Fritters appetizers to the Shrimp Po Boy with French Fries & Flounder Almondine with Crab Cake & Green Beans entrees all our food was fresh, hot and well prepared & seasoned.

Our first time here. Absolutely best experience. Everyone from the front door to the table were awesome and friendly! I’m a bathroom person! If the bathroom’ s are horrible, I don’t expect much from the food they serve. Their bathrooms were beautiful!!! So clean. Our server was a very sweet young lady name Jennifer. She definitely gets a gold star!! Her smile and friendliness just made my day. Also thumbs up to her manager Kimberly. So nice and funny. She stopped to check on us and chat a minute. So if your at the Haywood Mall. Stop! I promise you will enjoy. Thank you for a awesome experience.

First time here… I ordered the fried shrimp platter or dinner. It came with fries and coleslaw. Everything was very good. The shrimp wasn’t over cooked and the fries were great. My server was also very polite and went over almost the entire menu, which isn’t very big mind you, before I ordered. I thought it was a bit expensive ($20 for the platter) but I’m happy to pay more for quality food and good service.

Don’t waste your time nor you money. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was good. The other food here was certainly sub par. I ordered the flounder with crab cake and green beans. Very disappointing. My 14 year old prepares better at home. The shrimp and grits looked beautiful in the bowl but lacked flavor. The banana pudding was the worst..cheap, off brand cookies. Key lime pie was alright but I’ve had much better. We had to wait for everything. Service was poor.

Great first dining experience at the newest addition to the Rick Erwin Dining Group! My wife and I had seen the signs for this location at Haywood Mall for months and were excited to see that it had opened.

First time tonight! Service was awesome. Besides the waiting staff the manager must have checked on us 5 times even clearing plates himself if needed. Food was awesome as well. Had some great Pacific oysters, awesome she crab soup, crab stuffed flounder and some berry cobbler for dessert. All on there 3 for 30 list. Wife’s Redfish was also very tasty. Will be traveling from Columbia again just to eat there.

Fantastic staff & they were packed! Appetizers were delicious along with the food. Sweet Tea was spot on, and that’s a big tell right there! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back!

What a disappointment! Came for brunch on Sunday and it was not busy. The waitress took awhile to get our drinks. Even forgot our son’s beer. Everyone got their drinks but him. Once she took our orders we did not see her until it was time for the check. They need to retrain the staff.

Went for a birthday celebration. This place needs waitstaff training. Served what was supposed to be Brussels Sprouts that were charred beyond recognition (see photos). My son’s food showed up at the table 30 minutes after everyone else’s. One of the other orders was the wrong order. Remoulade sauce served with oysters was so spicy hot you couldn’t taste the oysters. To cap it all off, our party of 7 was charged a tip of 22%. Waitress reached across other people to serve plates rather than walk around people. I have no problem of automatic tip for large parties, but 22%? For bad food and terrible service? Never again!
