A nice dinner spot, with room for groups. Service has improved greatly since reopening. Our server was very kind, knowledgable, and patient. The food is excellent as ever- I have never been disappointed here. My dinner guest, who is very picky about their steaks, enjoyed a strip cooked to med-rare perfection (a tough temp to get without over/under cooking). 4.4 stars.

Tried eatting there- 7:30 on a Friday. Almost no one there. Ordered 1 club soda from the bar- waitress had to be reminded. Ordered 2 French onion soups, and 1 pizza to share. Asked about the soup 50 minutes later & was told it would be out as the appetizer but they were slammed. Kitchen door was open- 2 cooks…one sitting there eatting with the other chating with him. We left without eatting.

Got thrown out after giving a homie a compliment. He took it superrrr wrong, could tell he was just looking for a problem after I talked to his buddy, and the security guard who was with him before hand. Security guard proceeded to grab me by my neck multiple times after I told him I’ll leave as I was walking towards the door. Place is always banging for the college clientele, but I would suggest not supporting because all the money at the door goes straight to the owners pocket, which was confirmed by the security guard who threw me out, well before he threw me out (lol). Overall place is fun, but the guards have an ego and seem to enjoy the thrill, even when there is nothing wrong. I literally laughed out loud when I left because of this. I’d support the frat behind here instead. They don’t like the owner because they know what he is really about. You should have seen the sign down the road from his place before it got taken down. Ask a local, they know what it said, and what the owner is like. A straight creep.

My family and I decided to take a trip to Buffalo, New York and stumbled upon The Steer. And i ordered the “3151 Steak Sandwich” and honestly, I think it was the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had!! The service was astounding!! Lots of seating, with beautiful decor, and nice clean bathrooms. The kitchen is mostly open so you can see the chefs cooking from the bar. Seeing the chefs so dedicated and intricate with their work is quite reassuring because you know your food is cooked with love and care. Me and my family are so happy we found this restaurant, it’s been an honor to dine here, Thank you ‘The Steer’!

Came in a couple of weeks ago with my friend and ordered a dinner salad and burger med-rare. The salad was fine, but good thing my friend cut the burger in half before biting into it because it was inexcusably raw. The server took it back to the cook who put it back on the grill, but by the time they got it to acceptable temp, the entire outside was burnt. At least a complimentary drink would’ve been appreciated.
