Forever is the wait time for this location. Burgerpatties were hard, cold and dry. Everything else was fresh. The meat was so cold that the cheese between the patties did not melt at all.

The staff at this Dairy Queen were very pleasant, but the store itself was not clean. Shoes stick to the ground with every step and generally things were in disorder. The blizzard was tasty though so it met expectations on that.

We went to the DQ in Terrell Texas for a quick dinner last night and will not be back to this location. First, the attendant at the window gave us all of our ice cream at the window, which was fine until we had to wait approx 15 minutes outside in the Texas heat for our food/drinks. When a different person brought us our food, he only brought one bag that had 2 burgers, an onion rings, and BURNT fries. I should have also had 4 drinks, a kids meal, and a CHICKEN tender basket. We told him that we were missing half of our order, so we gave him our receipt. About 5 minutes later, he comes back out with the same bag he took with him and nothing else. We told him we were still missing all the items that we told him before he went inside and proceeded to ask us, again what we were missing. At that time, my husband decided to just park and go in with the receipt himself. Once inside, there was another customer inside that was complaining of getting the wrong order. When he got back into the car with the rest of the order, we checked it and instead of the mentioned chicken tender basket that we ordered, it was steak fingers with gravy the consistency of jello. At that time, we were frustrated and ready to go home, so we just kept the steak finger basket. But for the price of your establishment, I would expect to get good service and get exactly what I order in a timely manner. Instead, I ended up with cold food, melted ice cream, and an unprofessional employee that was told nicely we were missing half our order and seemed like he had no idea what was going on, not just once, but TWICE. 12-8-22 Went through drive through. I was the only car at 12 noon that should of told me something. Received my food and went and parked to find about a half a order or less of hard fries that had probably been sitting a while. You pay $11.89 and this is what you get. The burger was okay but fries definitely not. The photo is after I eat 3 fries.

The employee who was smoking as she dealt with the online order ahead of us barely acknowledged us until we called her over to ask about our order. She explained (like we were outside). That the person in front had ordered first and they were working on their food, then ours. I think it strange they could only do it once but we waited. Say the twenty minute mark we hadn’t received an update much less an apology . When we continued to ask she brought our drinks or and explained they just received our order 35 minutes after it was supposed to be ready! We asked why they hadn’t explained that when we pulled in. That they didn’t have our order yet? She just gave us attitude and says it would be ready when it’s too. Then Lillian tried to charge us for FIFTY CENTS for sour cream that came in the salad! The manager corrected her but her attitude over their mistake was trying her hardest to put it in us. Lillian was also the one smoking and taking orders. The two cooks were smoking in the back when we pulled up as well. We eventually got our order an hour after we put it in for mobile and 45 minutes after it was promised. Not one sorry and all attitude.

Do not accept DOOR DASH orders from this location unless you don’t mind waiting for your order not to be started until you ask for it and then taking the dollar loss for being late to your delivery. Everytime I have accepted an order for this location they always have to check the cash register for the order printout to see that they have an online order then they take it back to the cook to get started. It totally defeats the point of placing an order online. If the owner is reading this take a minute to think about what you are asking you employees to do. You want them to take care of the customers that are in the store first. You are letting those people cut in line. The online customer ordered first and their food should be prepared first.

We visited the Terrell location on Saturday May 20th while we were there for a baseball tournament. My kids love Dairy Queen where we are from. We eat there at least 3 times a week. The location in Terrell however is a complete train wreck! They were out of ice and don’t bother to get you any when you order even though they are aware of the situation. Then my kids got steak finger and chicken strips kid meals and I had to pay additional money for the gravy. That in itself is a joke. I also ordered my other kid a grilled cheese kid meal and it never came and when I went and asked about it the cook said he didn’t even know how to make grilled cheese? It’s on the menu. We had to wait THIRTY minutes for this kid meal. And my son’s cheese burger kid meal..the burger of course didn’t come out with cheese the first time and it was cold. When I took it back they just burnt it to heat it up. This was such an awful experience!! I will never visit this establishment again.

Fast friendly service and fresh hot food….well obviously that dipped ice cream cone wasn’t hot. In all seriousness the workers were friendly and welcoming and the food was hot and fresh. Great stop for a meal while traveling. Highly recommend this Dairy Queen.

I’m very upset . Ordered 6 piece steak finger basket a dr pepper and 1 taco with NO cheese . I said that several timed. They bring me dr pepper with no taste a taco covet in cheese which I’m allergic that’s why I asked several times to make sure no cheese and steak finger basket with no gravy. That’s only reason I get it is for the gravy ..Instead they gave me honey nmustar bulls eye bbq sauce and ranch.. I did not want that and they now closed. I want my money back
