We went here on a Saturday night when we had a craving for sushi. We don’t usually eat hibachi, so we just sat at a regular table. It took at least 30 minutes to get seated because no one would come help us. They kept make eye contact with us but it took forever to get someone to come over and seat us. The waitress followed suit and wasn’t attentive. Being from Florida, my kids were excited when she said they had sweet ice tea. So they each ordered it. We were very disappointed when it arrived in a can. We usually let our kids drink tea because I know exactly what’s in it, all natural ingredients. But canned tea is another story. The sushi was mediocre at best. And we ordered pad Thai too- bleh. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t that good. And the service was definitely lacking.

It was OK, but there was no performance with the food prep, the chef literally cooked in front of you and slopped things on your plate. The wait staff was around, but they didn’t do much serving for the tip they obviously expected in the end.

I really used to enjoy this place. My boyfriend and I would come here often up until now. We got a Groupon for the resturant and they wouldn’t accept it! We bought it for $27 and all they did was discount our food for $27. When we tried explaining to them that we bought the groupon (which they had redeemed even before we had our meal), they began to get hostile with us and 3 of the waitresses began screaming at us! I have never been so poorly treated at a resturant. The food is good but the staff is beyond rude. They were laughing at us calling us cheap and ridiculous and argued with us for about 30 minutes. If they advertise something on Groupon they should go through with it. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had, definitely not coming back. (The one with the glasses is the worst.)

It was very clean, the Hibachi guy was friendly, the food was pretty good, they forgot our rice, one lady was a bit rude but another lady who handed us are bill was nice. It was a very nice clean place. I don’t give it 5 stars because of forgetting our rice and the lady being a bit rude, but it was overall pretty good.

Everyone working there had an attitude, rushed everything to the point we could not enjoy our meals. Before the apps even came out they started the hibachi part, which wasn’t a show, just a chef cooking food and lighting a fire twice. Only time chef spoke was when asking which steak I ordered. My 2 year old son was reaching for something on his plate when the chef threw hot chicken on his plate and hand. Before asking if we wanted to see a desert menu, they went to grab my plate and ask if I want it wrapped up, as I had some rice on a fork in my mouth. They gave us dirty looks when we decided to order desert bc the kids were so well behaved. When we were paying the bill I had asked for change back, and it just so happens that it was $5 short of what we were supposed to get back. Oh, and to top it all off, my wife asked if there’s a diaper changing station and was directed to the woman’s room. She went in to find someone stinking up the stall, but she didn’t see the changing station, so she stepped out expecting it to be in the stall. After waiting about 5 mins she hears the toilet flush, and as she heads in to the bathroom an employee is exiting the stall, and straight out the bathroom, without washing her hands! This place was great when it first opened up, even for years after. The last couple of times we went, we were greeted with dirty looks and had to deal with attitudes, poor service, and mediocre food. After the employee leaving the bathroom without washing her hands, the chef putting a hot spatchula of chicken on my son’s hand, taking my food away while I was in mid bite, and trying to stiff me on my change I will never go back again

Where to start? They crammed the 11 of us on one side of the hibachi grill. The waitress was so stressed out over the large group the manager had to take over and he was a mess. Took 20 mins for water and 30 mins for drinks. I had to get up at the bar and get it myself. Sushi was rubbery and not fresh

The sushi here is always good. And I like the style of the place on the inside. Reliable neighborhood restaurant. I usually get yellowtail rolls, and my husband orders the chirashi. Both are gorgeous and yummy. Servers are friendly.

Went there for dinner the other night the service was horrendous. The wait staff had no knowledge on their food when asked simple questions about the combination entrees. Then the man who cooked for us rushed the whole experience and pretty much threw out food into our plates. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Definitely won’t be returning here

I have never been inside Sakura, but I do order delivery when I’m at work. They have really great quality sushi, great wasabi pickled ginger, and mochi is handmade. Great quality food fast service, great online presence, easily assecible. Love love love this place!
