Worst Port of Subs ever. Been going to many different places throughout different towns. Never have I experienced anything like I did today. I should have walked out and not wasted my money. Bread was so stale I couldn’t chew threw it, even though it was heated up and not grilled like it’s advertised. Lettuce looked like it was chewed up and spit out. Wanted avocado but it was brown and ugly. I went in specifically for a BLT tried to do it online was glad after seeing what I would have gotten I would have been upset. Again I truly should have walked out and not paid for it. It wasn’t even worth giving it to a homeless person.

Best and freshest food around! I work nearby and eat here often. I can honestly say I have never gotten bad food here. Ian is a shear genius when it comes to creating sandwiches and is always there to offer a friendly hello and smile. They even go above and WAY beyond for my boyfriend who has an allergy. I highly recommend the Dayton shop, with so many varieties (sandwiches- hot and cold, salads, wraps) it’s hard to go wrong. And if you’re not sure what to get, ask them for a recommendation! They can make your next favorite!

My husband and I go to Port of Subs at LEAST once a week. I am always greeted by name and asked if I would like my usual sandwich. The employees all know that I always buy extra meat on the side for my dogs, and the package it up very nicely for them. All of the employees are knowledgeable in the products, personable to the customers and go out of their way to always make my dining experience the best each and every time.

I walked into the store at 7:05 on a Sunday night, not realizing that they close at seven. I think that there was a family finishing eating, so they had left the door unlocked. Even though they should have been closed, the assistant manager Ian was kind enough to make me a sandwich and not say anything at all. I only knew they were closed because All of the other employees started to get ready to go home. I apologized profusely and offered to leave but he insisted that he make me a sandwich. I know a lot of other places where they would have just told me that they were closed, but he went the extra mile and gave great customer service. I really appreciate that. I felt that I was being rushed. I had ordered 5 foot longs chips, brownies and drinks. I spent alot of money. I told the 2 employees what I wanted but before I could ask them to wait a moment so I could catch up they were adding all the veggies and 3 got toasted. They assumed that’s because I had the first three toasted that I wanted them all toasted. The food was okay would have been great if they had just slowed down to listen. I was very frustrated by the time I had left the store. Also the brownies were not fresh.
