We visited this place twice during our trip because we loved their dosa! The Sambar they make is the best Sambar I’ve had in the States! The Chutney and the Potato Bhaji was very average. I had lot of expectations on the tandoor cauliflower, but I was disappointed. It had too much yogurt in it. My husband is a tea lover and their tea was below average. Overall we had a good experience. We loved the fusion and definitely coming back for the dosa! We loved the dabeli and vada pav!

we had heard about Tava so decided to check it out. The place accepts reservations so made one in advance to ensure we had a table.

The food is fantastic, I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I’ve dined in and ordered takeaway and can highly recommend the Behl Puri, Paper Dosa, and Lamb Vindaloo Dosa. Food is quick, dining space is well lit and decorated with bright, colorful murals. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Take out food had items separately packaged which made the food seem fresh upon arrival.

One of our favorite meals in New Orleans. Everything was delicious & service was quick. Definitely recommend the lamb dosa, uttapam and chaat. Love that most everything is gluten-free, too. Makes dining easy!

Loved the cheese dosa but the bhel puri was not to my taste. Also had the Bombay sandwich it was good but would have like cucumber and other veggies. Definitely ask for the extra hot sauce it was amazing! All and all we will be coming back

People at tava are really nice and welcoming. We were a party of around 10 people and we didn’t have any reservations, we were new to this area and we randomly walked in this restaurant. These people had tables reserved for other parties but they were kind enough to make some arrangements and get us seated asap. Their drinks were amazing. Ambience is really nice. Bhel and dosa were delicious. Dragon bhel was a salad bhel which was okay and the dabeli was also okayish. Mumbai sandwich could have been better. All in all this place is a nice fusion of Indian and western tastes but it can bet better as few dishes didn’t hit the right spot.

The only place around that serves Dora’s! Delicious with just enough crisp on the edges. The salad dressing had a little bit of a bite. The brussells sprouts were overcooked, but the sauce was tasty. Lamb Vidaloo was spiced up nicely and paired well with the Chutney and soup. Chole Dora’s was also tasty.

What a cool spot to get Indian street food. Loved the dosa the most. The dips were okay but I definitely enjoyed the cheese inside the dosa. The salad and Kati roll we got was interesting, full of spice, and yummy.

We talked to the owner and he was so nice to talk too! I love the concept of this place and the food was great! I recommend trying one of the chicken 65 dishes, one of the katis, the dessert, and ofc a dosa! And the chai!
