We had a party of 13 attending Chef’s Table Series: A Celebration of Love. Menu posted below, along with a few dinner pics. Dinner reservations ran a little late, but that didn’t put a damper on the evening. Our wait staff were attentive, accommodating, pleasant & provided a great upscale dining experience. The ambiance was romantic & fun. The food was amazing! A 7 course dinner with a variety of foods to address anyone’s dining palate. What a wonderfully fun & delicious dining experience! Each course perfectly paired with an adult drink. Chef Mike came out to tell us about each course. He was polite, addressed questions, but he was definitely kept busy that evening. My only complaint for the evening was the walleye dish was not hot. Mine & a couple of other’s fish were more cold than warm. I was disappointed because it was tasty until I got to the cold part. To their defense they offered to remake each of ours. We declined because everyone else was already finishing up their course. Just didn’t want to be the cause of further delay. Otherwise I cannot wait to have dinner there again. Definitely worth a second visit.

Duck fat fries and caramelized pork belly – worth every cent spent. Loved both of the dishes and as a snack big portion , so having both I was already full. Service was pleasant and helpful. Had ok variety of beers – had two local draft IPAs, enjoyed both. All in all – really worth the visit.

Flavor combinations are safe but fantastic all the same. Fried oysters with aioli were very good, even though my wife doesn’t like oysters to begin with. The wild boar Bolognese was decent and the preparation was pretty standard, though the portion was small for $25. The sauce and seasonings crusted onto the filet mignon were probably the best I ever tried paired with a steak dish.

My sister and I stayed in the hotel last night so we came down to Bring House for brunch this morning. The restaurant was very beautiful, great lighting, and comfy booths. We ordered lattes, and they were not the best I have had but fine. I ordered the southern boy delight which was sausage gravy over biscuits with fried egg and a side of breakfast potatoes. It was delicious. My sister ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of the a la carte biscuits and gravy. There was some confusion because the paper menu and online menu listed the side as $3 but on the bill they were $7, so that was a little misleading. The size was the same as my biscuits and gravy so it is a better deal to order that, rather than paying $7 for breakfast potatoes since that is the main difference between the two. Our waiter was nice, and overall we enjoyed our meal and hotel experience!

Our server was excellent! Checked on us very frequently and made sure we had drinks the whole way through our meal. My one and only complaint is that the Root Beer Short Rib was very salty. Overall a good experience for us on our first trip.

Our family met at Brim House, downtown Toledo for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. They had a special menu for the day. We had a meal choice of vegetarian or regular. It was a five course meal. Here are three pictures -roasted turkey roulade, corn bread waffle and dinner rolls. We also had yam croquette and warm bacon (grilled pork belly) salad. The vegetarian food was smoked tofu and roasted apple toast. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was classy urban – New York vibe. It has large picture windows overlooking the plaza (outdoor skating rink which was closed for the day) and the river. A very clean restaurant and restrooms. We paid $36 per person for the Thanksgiving meal. It was worth it.
