Nice. Hip. Trendy. Normally very busy, especially Fridays and Saturday nights. And for good reason too! The meat, noodles, and broth are savory/delicious. Tons of options too! The egg is one of the best, soft and gooey on the inside. They also give you a whole one, unlike many other establishments. My only knock is that it’s only 2 smallish slices of chashu pork and relatively light on toppings (you can add more for an extra fee). Overall, I would still return, the quality is up there with some of the best.

[Update: Tried a vegan ramen, the Tsunami White Pearl. I’m dumbfounded a vegan broth is this thick and rich. Well executed Jinya.]

I like this location, although it can get busy quickly. The ramen at Jinya is delicious. The broth is super flavorful and the additions are good. I like the different choices in noodles.

If you’re looking for vegan ramen in Long Beach, this is a good option. They opened recently so they are still figuring out a few quirks in terms of service. The food tastes the same as their other locations so that’s good. If you’re into tea, they serve Bigelow and Lipton. You’re warned. They also have happy hour!

If mid was the standard, they met the criteria. The service is fine. The food is not worth the price. As a ramen lover I felt disrespected. Pencil thin noodles. You’re paying for their location. Beautiful ambiance, but don’t settle for this place. Never settle. Strong skip and do not come here.

We tried Jinya recently and had a fantastic meal. Very attractive patio area with a gas burning fire… we tried the spicy miso Ramen and one of the buns, along with the crispy chicken. Excellent textures and flavors and very attentive service.

The vibe in this restaurant is wonderful, the employee is greet you on the way in and say goodbye on the way out. Everything’s small is wonderful. I would suggest getting the original 2010 ramen. The broth was fatty, oily, rich, flavorful and delicious. Definitely the go-to spot in Long Beach for ramen!

Soooo good! I got their tonkotsu black and premium tonkotsu red. The broth is so flavorful and the noodles are chewy. The server was also very nice

Visited during happy hour Saturday. Service was incredibly fast and great for the most part. They forgot to bring us our green tea but took it off the bill. Most of the tableware was dirty. Like the soy sauce mixing saucers, each had oil residue left on them. Then one of the appetizer plates had stuff on it. Then we asked for some spoons and those also had specks of something white left on them. It was strange, like they had been through the washer but wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The food was decent, not the best ramen we’ve had but we certainly enjoyed it. Also had the mini salmon tacos.
