Honestly, average food at best. The sauces all tasted extremely store bought or pre made. The service was incredibly impersonal and uncommunicative which made it difficult to branch out or alter a dish. Also, only two pieces of naan for the table when we were a party of 3. There was very little hospitality for mediocre food. I would try again if there was a bit of an update.

Ordered to go asked the owner if the dish that I am ordering has the potatoes and carrots inside since I have forgotten the name when I had it over at another Indian restaurant in Silver Spring, Maryland. L Owner reinsured me it was the same dish. I paid for the to go order a whopping $36. Just to get home and see that none of the vegetable that I asked for where included to top it all off my garlic nana bread was burned. Awful I do not recommend this place for those dishes that I had. It had no flavor like the spice was just plain.

We ordered one chicken Biryani and its 1.Not a Dhum biryani 2. They dont separate lamb and chicken, it came with some of chicken and some of them lamp which is not suitable for Indians specially south India people.

We had lunch and ordered Malai Kofta, palak paneer and Dhal Makhani it was superb. Went back to Haandi after 25 years meanwhile I had tried most of the Indian restaurants in the Washington metro area but for Indian authentic food and the price it was truly above average. Will go back for more.
