We went to Harvest as a group. Everything was set up smoothly for us. To my big surprise, the food is remarkably delicious. I ordered the beer root salad, mushroom risotto and cheesecake. I loved every bit of it. I am usually not a big fan of cheesecakes, but theirs was great. Just the right portion with few berries, wonderful combination.

Five star to this restaurant. Located in Harvard square this quaint place has a great ambience. Upscale and modern. We went there for brunch. Ordered ourselves some classic mimosas. For food salmon tarter and hash brown pizza. Loved the food and plating.

Slex
The easiest way to get to this restaurant via streetside Uber drop-off is to put in Anthropolgie at the corner of Story and Brattle as the location and walk down the walkway between the two buildings. Harvest is about halfway down this alley, with a little neon sign above the door.

Harvest is a reasonably large space with a nice brunch that can host private events. Overall the quality of the American style food was very good but the poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were unevenly cooked across multiple orders. One egg was poached normally with a runny yolk and one was over cooked; photo is posted. Whatever containers are used for making the cheesecake don’t release well so there were visible chunks of cheesecake missing along the sides. I might recommend Harvest for brunch celebrations but not as a go-to.

Tasty food and good vibe, but watch out for amount of butter. We ordered 3 dishes for the table and extravaganza amount of butter seemed consistent. Oysters were smaller than expected.

I had the ceviche, it was not my favorite because is not a classic ceviche as I know. Instead of onions it has fennel, beside that the fish was really fresh. Then I had the Lobster Spaghetti and it was DELICIOUS! 100% recommended. Also they have a HUGE variety of drinks of any kind you will have a lot of options of wines from different places. I had an Italian Prosecco and loved it. The Atmosphere felt very classic or a little old way but it was good.

Restaurant ambiance was nice and upscale and we enjoyed sitting indoors on a hot day but still had a patio vibe. I was expecting the food to be better than it was for the price. East Coast oysters were good as well as the starter cheese plate. Entrees were average over all and I’m glad we gave it a try, but would not be coming back. Service was great to make up for the passable food.
