Fantastic time here on a Saturday morning. Most other places we went were too busy or offered little to no seating. Food was good and prepared fast. It was nice to have some breakfast and lunch options for those who go around brunch and no longer think breakfast. Cute aesthetic and nice place to work, meet friends, just grab a bite.

Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff were friendly. We had to wait a while for our meals, but on graduation weekend, we figured this would happen. Parking is close by. Located on the 1st floor. Easy to see, located on a corner lot. All of our meals were very tasty. I would come again.

Amazing brunch location. Good hot tea options to go with delicious sweet/savory breakfast food. Everything comes with a side of fresh fruit.

I had the steak sandwich, it was amazing. The cook was perfect and the flavor was awesome. My wife and daughter had the lemon crape’s, the only thing that would have made them better, would have been a lemon cream/custard/butter. My wife also got the tomato bisque, it had the consistency of puréed pumpkin. It was eatable, but would never order it again. My daughter got the chia tea, she thought it was amazing. Finished the meal with tiramisu, it was really good, and very boozy.

The coffee was delicious! The biscuits and gravy was more like biscuit and gravy, but was very tasty. We had a few issues with our service, and the gravy to biscuit portion was a bit much. Overall very yummy!

Our experience at this restaurant for breakfast two days ago was extremely disappointing and not worth the money spent. The blueberries served alongside our dish were unwashed and overly ripe, which was quite off-putting. The quality of the crepe was subpar and did not meet our expectations. Additionally, the fresh fruit provided as a side was far from fresh, lacking the desired flavor. The avocado toast lacked any distinctive taste and felt too simplistic. However, we did appreciate the positive ambiance and good vibes of the environment, which was the only redeeming aspect of our visit.

Servers were great and the location was pretty, but the food was a tad overpriced for what we got compared to other locations with similar menus. The pasta dishes also came with no sides (no salad, no bread, no nothing).

One rainy Sunday morning we woke up with a craving for crepes. With no local Yelp or Google recommendations we settled on Ames. Not having any idea what to expect, we landed on the door step of Stomping Grounds Cafe. We absolutely were not disappointed. The Scarlet Tea was prefect, the Cafe Latte the same. Our craving for crepes completely satisfied. And the food was gormet amazing for a more than reasonable price. We will make this trip many, many more times!!!
