We went for a belated Mother’s Day lunch and were super happy with everything! Great wine menu, the food was delicious, the ambience is beautiful, and our server was funny and helpful. We sat outside which was great for a kiddo. Would definitely go back. Would like to check out their wine tasting room as well.

Eugene was friendly and highly professional and accommodating. The owner Steve was very personable and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Came upon the tasting room area that’s connected to the restaurant but was able to have dinner here. It was nice and quiet with only two gentlemen at the bar area. Roxanne, our server, was very attentive and personable. We ordered off the “bar” menu which had smaller portions and it was perfect for us. I enjoyed the Duck Confit and hubby had the Angus burger, both prepared very well. We had a Zinfandel and Cabernet to accompany it. So glad we walked into the tasting room area instead of the restaurant.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. I placed an order online and drove 10 minutes to their location to pick up my own food. When I went to pay the bill, some raunchy old red haired lady working at the bar accused me of trying to “bring the total down” and charged me extra on the receipt without my permission. As a customer, I do not owe you ANY TIP whatsoever if I have to drive to your restaurant, pick up my own food, drive home, and serve myself. I will never order from or dine in at this place again, and that lady should be fired for taking advantage of customers like that. The prices on the website menu are also not accurate, stay away from this place. Food is mediocre at best…

Great food and service! Only thing I would have to complain about is I wish they had a cocktail menu. This place is well known for their wine selection and they have many awards to back it up, I’m just not a wine guy Never the less, my fiancé and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything we ordered.

Longtime favorite Carlsbad restaurant. Classy and cozy atmosphere inside with fantastic patio seating as well. The gnocchi and scallops are the favorite dishes of all time! Service is 10 stars along with a spectacular wine list. Come her to find that rare bottle of Screaming Eagle or just sip some fine Angel’s Envy Bourbon.
