Tried a drink there, made it nice and strong. It’s dimly lit and has the kitchen open for you to watch and see. Small but so cozy. Great place for some privacy. Comfortable and inviting. Friendly hosts. I tried a cherry dessert, tasted like cherrys Garcia ice cream but in cake form!! Amazing.

Ok, where to start. The decor was nice. Now, this place says southern food, but… it’s a no. It’s been altered up scale a bit too much and badly. I ordered deep-fried brussel sprouts for an appetizer, but they were so overly cooked that they were falling apart. They were completely unsalvagable. When I asked to return it, the waitress complained to the cooks about my guest and I for not liking the unedable appetizer. We ordered the grown-up cheesy bread in its place, which unfortunately was no better in pleasing my pallet. My main course… was served in a bowl. Yes, it all goes to the same place, but there was no picking what you liked and didn’t like. Now I love butter, but it was so rich. There was so much butter, but you couldn’t move away from it due to its plating. I ended up having a stomach ache by trying to eat the small amount that I was able to. It was a mess. Also, my guest had ordered some bread to go with her plate, “which should have come with bread” and when we replaced the deep-fried brussel sprouts appetizer with the cheesy bread, the waitress suggested that we cancel the side of bread, so we did. Then the waitress went back to the cooks and stated, “Well, they canceled another one!” Also, it was cold outside, and we were shopping, so we dressed down. Many others were dressed up. The waitress only paid attention to people who were dressed up, and she knew. She spent her entire time being rude to us and talking to her friends only. She was the most non attentive waitress I have ever had. Her personality was horrible, and her attitude was worse. I would say she is one of the biggest problems at this place and could use a very long vacation. I couldn’t bring myself to giving her even one star. The saddest thing is that the food itself was cooked well, but it was mostly overshadowed by the plating. It needs to be plated differently, toned down, and have better service; and definitely lower their prices until it’s done!

We were a large group of 11 adults and 4 babies. The food was very good. The service was attentive. However, I’d say they were understaffed for a Sunday crowd and a large group. Additionally, they seem to still be “renovating” and the tables were in need of a good cleaning.

First time at Justin’s and it was amazing. The food was delicious! I had the stroganoff and my husband had the braised beef. The bartender was amazing, he was super friendly, chatted with us while we sat at the bar, and was so personable with everyone. I cant believe I had never been before… We will definitely be going back!

I just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Justin’s Kitchen. I called them with less than a weeks notice to organize a large party for my mothers wake, and they really went above and beyond. In addition to happily taking our party, they treated my kids wonderfully and they even took it upon themselves to include free dessert for everyone that attended, and they made us all the most delicious crème brûlée. The owner came over to offer his condolences as well as the chef. It was truly a 5 star experience, and given the somber tone of the day I feel like that was pretty hard to achieve. All of my gratitude and appreciation to the owner Paul, and all the others that came together to pull off a wonderful moment to break bread in memory of my mom.

Outstanding food. It made me wish I had been giving out fewer five-star reviews recently. I’d give them six. The tomato soup is awesome, the salad outstanding, and the scallops (with fancy mushrooms and cheesy rice) was The Bomb. Good beer selection and great mixed drinks.
