My wife and I rarely eat out at Italian restaurants. She’s half Italian, so we save ourselves for family meals. We were in Manhattan with our daughter and had an early dinner reservation, but just after noon, my wife suddenly had a craving for mussels. A quick search for mussels in Turtle Bay took us to Angeletto.

Great restaurant that has a lot of charm and a real Italian feel. I ordered one of their traditional Roman pastas, the cacio e pepe, which not many restaurants feature. Good but not great, though I would order it again. Everything we tried was good, though definitely a little pricey. Service was great too.

A delicious high end Italian experience with a chef from Rome, making dishes authentically. I had the Cacio De Pepe, which was made masterfully with high end ingredients. At the end of the night we were served limoncello to wrap up our meal which was refreshing. I highly recommend for a nice night.

Had one night free for Italian in midtown east and found Angeletto in walking distance and it was the right choice. Servers were phenomenal with menu and wine. Has ambiance of simple traditional white table cloth Italian restaurant. Really was a memorable experience. Clam sauce was great and wife’s ravioli filling was amazing. Veal was perfect. Even offered pricing options on bottles of wine which was welcome.

This is one of our favorite local go to respond in the neighborhood. The quality of food is always extremely fresh and everything i have ever order is delicious. Never had a bad meal here. Pastas here are my favorite they are all homemade I highly recommend saving room for dessert the tiramisu is fantastic

It’s the 2nd time I go there and leave starving. I have been to this place several times and used to love the pasta with lamb ragu and on Sept. 22, 2022, they sent me what looked like a half portion (see pictures that show pasta from a about a month ago and the last time). There was almost NO RAGU. And the dish cost $29. On the same day, I saw that another table got the full portion. It was for a strong man, and I am a woman. Maybe they started sending smaller portions to people they judge wouldnt eat so much? I dont know. Also, the special lobster ravioli is much smaller than it used to be, with smaller shrimp and what tastes like ricotta and NOT lobster ravioli. Shame because this is a neighborhood restaurant. I won’t go back. Very disappointed.
