We enjoyed an early sitting to take advantage of restaurant week before Hamilton. The restaurant week special was a three course meal that was simply outstanding. The antipasti and the salmon were delicious, and the cheesecake for dessert was so light and fluffy it was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had, anywhere.

What an experience! Ate almost everything on the menu with a group of friends and everything was spot on. Not a single bad dish. The seared tuna was something special. The best cheesecake and lemon sorbet I’ve had is also at Becco. The only sour note was Chris Christie sat beside our table; the impulse to dump my plate of spaghetti marinara over his head was strong..

The atmosphere of this place is very nice. My mom and I got a really cozy spot past the bar and away from all the commotion. Our server was very very sweet and friendly. The bread wasn’t that good, very tough. The salad, on the other hand, was excellent! It came with both our meals and was definitely the most memorable part of our dinner. For my meal, I ordered all you can eat 3 pastas. I only got 2/3 of the pastas, and that was after they substituted one of them for me (marinara) because I don’t eat beef or pesto. The white cheesy pasta was wayyy to rich for my taste, so much so that I could only eat one bite. The marinara was better in my opinion and very tasty. My mom got the chicken parmigiana. It was HUGE and tasted good! Our only complaint was that there was a excessive amount of basil.

Generous portions of delicious food and an extensive wine list for only $35 a bottle. Getting two full dinners and a bottle of wine for only $100 is amazing in NYC. Worth coming at 5pm to beat the crowd! If you come later make a reservation. The 3 specialty pasta dishes is a great choice with plenty to eat!

Have been here several times but first time leaving a review. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had to eat and drink. We sat upstairs which is a little less chaotic than on the main level. They do pack in a crowd and pack you in at a table. We were a table of six and it was a juggling act to fit 4 appetizers on the table. Every bite was well seasoned and tasty. The fried mozzarella almost looks like a roll when it is served. The cheese is encased in dough and not breadcrumbs, an interesting and delicious spin on what is usually a bland item. Lidia’s gamberi was a pleasant surprise. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Calamari was good, lightly battered and not oily. Red sauce served with it had a little spice which was delicious. Caesar salad was not over or under dressed had a hint of anchovy flavor and was quite good. If you are looking for a really good caesar you might want to try this one. Short rib with spaetzle was the best bite. Tender and moist short rib and spaetzle with a great brown sauce. The pasta trio offerings were all delicious. One of the 3 was fish so in place of that they had a 4th option if you don’t like fish. They say it is unlimited but truly one serving is very filling. If you are in the mood for some good pasta this is definitely a great option. All in all classic italian cooked really well.

Great restaurant near the theater district. Loved the service and the food! Very few restaurants include a salad with entree these days but Becco does. Short rib was great and wines by the glass were VERY reasonable at generally no.morw than $15 per glass.

Delicious!!! We had the Osso Bucco, and Veal Piccata, both were sooo tender and flavorful. Service was impeccable. The tables are close set and we enjoyed chatting with our dining neighbors! Love this place. Highly recommend

Becco holds a special place in our hearts. We made it a point to dine here, hurricane or shine, as we love what the Bastianich family has created. It was probably our most anticipated dining plans of our 2021 NYC trip. My wife and I dined here when NYC was being hammered by the remnants of hurricane Ida in September of 2021. Despite the restaurant experiencing some flooding during the storm, they still accommodated us as family and made it a dinner we’ll never forget. The appetizers, wine and food were all spectacular. The service was superior with distinction. Thank you for the memories we’ll cherish forever.

I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were a group of 11 and didn’t have any accommodation issues. I looked at reviews and was concerned, especially about the famous trio pasta combo that they are known for. Despite the reviews, I still went for it since this is what most people come for, unlimited pasta for $30. I also heard that they change the pasta every night. The night I went, they had Pumpkin Ravioli, Penne with Shrimp, and Spaghetti with Broccoli. The penne and spaghetti were good, but nothing to die for. However, I was a big fan of the pumpkin ravioli. The appetizer bread was good as well as the caesar salad. I tried the chicken parmigiana and it was really delicious. Be mindful, it doesn’t come with pasta. I also got one of their white wine which was also good. Overall, great service and good food.

Our pre theatre dinner was delicious! The three pasta sampler offered three flavorful and fabulous pastas – beet filled ravioli , spaghetti a la arrabiatta with fried shrimp and rigatoni with garlic and broccoli. The lamb chops were huge and grilled to perfection. Try the burrata appetizer- on grilled Tuscan bread with broccoli rabe- delicious. Best we’ve ever had. Service is new-York perfect. Feels like family.
