I wish I could give this location 6 stars. The food, atmosphere, and service was wonderful. As a non drinker I loved the array of mocktails and the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Portland!

Had an amazing time at Via Vecchia. We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We had Dillon as a server and he made sure we had a good time. Best service we’ve had in a while. Easy to talk to, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and kitchen. We got the filet and lobster ravioli, loved them.

Food was incredible!! The garlic scape butter with the sourdough was amazing! We loved the kale caesar and burrata starters also! The campelle pasta was delicious as well! Loved the spice level and the fresh mozz/fried onions on top. Atmosphere was calm and eclectic and our server made the experience even better! Highly recommend!!

We came to Via Vecchia wooed by the cocktail menu and good eats. We were seated outside, albeit in an awkward 4 person table format, but took it in stride. We were told prior to ordering that we “needed to sit tight and that it might be a minute” in a super patronizing tone like we were in kindergarten. When it was finally time for him to take our order (15 min later). Our food was general acceptable but the drinks never came out. They must have been understaffed, but no excuse to be treated like children.

So much fun! It’s like a hidden Italian escape. We had no idea there was additional seating, a bar, and a lounge in the back of the restaurant. We opted for a glass of a bold red Italian wine and a pasta dish. The pasta was full of layered flavors. I chose the creamy lumache, and my husband selected the beefy tripoline. The pasta selection changes often, so choose your favorite of the day and enjoy!
