Stopped in for a late lunch around 1:30p and was seated within a few minutes, took about 10 minutes to get my drink order in along with my food order, they really weren’t that busy so I was surprised at the wait. I received my food order after another 25 minutes and while it was tasty it wasn’t hot, just lukewarm, I ordered the Spicy Poblano Omelet with steak as I was told there wasn’t any shredded beef at the same price and toast. Everything was good just slow and not hot, so that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Came out to almost $19 plus tip with a Pepsi.

Hate to give it a ONE because since we started going here 3 months ago, it’s been a 5. However, this is a heads up if you order their new Eggs Benedict. Hard boiled eggs are not what should top this delicious dish, poached is what’s called for. However since I ordered the Pesto style, the veggies were super tasty, as was the sauce. Of course their potatoes have always been something to look forward to!

I can’t speak to the quality of the food or drinks, because we never got that far. It took a few minutes to get seated, then we sat for a long time as we watched people that were seated after us ordering, and even being served, their food. I tried to flag the waittess down several times and was ignored. When she finally came to our table, I pointed out that she was not taking care of her customers in order and that we were a little put off by it. I was really just wanting an apology and some reassurance that she would try to be more attentive, but she fired back with a HUGE attitude that it wasn’t her fault and what did we want her to do about it? My Mom told her she just didn’t want to be ignored, so the waitress said ‘I’m here now. What do you want to do?’, again with her aggressive attitude. So I said ‘I guess nothing. Come on Mom, let’s go.’ and we walked out. The place was moderately busy, nothing that a good server couldn’t have handled easily. I am an experienced server and even worked at a well managed IHOP, so I am very familiar with their operating procedures that ensure a good customer experience. We were just traveling through, but we’ll never stop there again.

We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Colorado and stopped in for breakfast. We realized quickly that the server was alone and were patient with that. She said that she would get us coffee and 5 more tables came in and were seated. They got their drinks and we still didn’t have coffee. She apologized for that and we understood. When she came the third time and asked us again our drinks, I said thank you and I guess I could order now as I saw others ordering that came in long after I did. When I said I could order now, the server actually YELLED at me and screamed “I am by myself!” I stated that I wasn’t upset or meaning anything by it and she screamed again, “yes you did!” We left at that point. By the way we were there for an hour and received nothing. What a waste of travel time. I can’t tell you how the food was but the experience was horrible for me being 60+, I have never been yelled at in my life by a waitress.

This was a little larger than it looked like from the outside. They were busy for lunch and there were only two waitresses that had to seat customers and serve the tables. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. All around good food and service despite the fact they were busy!

Well, it’s all about the pancakes and the meat. The pictures are way better than reality, but it was still tasty. Be aware, this is an IHOP at a truck stop, so the ambiance is as expected.

1st they weren’t busy enough for us to have been waiting as long as or anyone else did to be seated. We didn’t get drinks till right before the food (there were only 2 tables when we walked in and only 4 tables including ours when we left. There is no need to have an attitude when you mess up someone’s order. I am allergic to onion, I asked for a plain burger and got an attitude and talked over and walked away from, from who I would guess is the manager, when I tried to explain that i am allergic to onion and couldn’t eat the burger brought to me. Then by time I got my replacement burger my family was done eating, leave attempt to eat my food and burger is so burnt its not edible. Be cautious eating here as apparently our safety is not one of their concerns.
